Having problems using FSUIPC in MSFS 2024

Featured Replies

Hi All, I have the latest version of FSUIPC, a programme I have been using for many years in MSFS 2020. Todate I have been binding my controls through the MSFS 2024 controls settings in MSFS 2024.

Decided to revert back to have my bindings (except for the keyboard) back in FSUIPC. I can see that the assignments all appear to be working within FSUIPC, but I cannot get FSUIPC to 'talk' to MSFS 2024.

So, for example if I select my 8 way hat switch, and start to pan around the cockpit - nothing moves (whereas I can see they are correctly bound in the FSUIPC interface). I have deleted new control profiles that I had created within MSFS 2024 - and now cannot figure out as to why I cannot get my FSUIPC bindings to work.

Cannot find much on the internet to help - so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

EDIT: Just noticed that although the cockpit pan views do not work via FSUIPC on my Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog joysticks - other assigned buttons such at autothrottle to GA do.................so just wondering why some do and some don't?

You are better off asking on the official FSUIPC forums, but let me ask you on question.  When you started with  blank profiles for the Warthog to set up the FSUIPC bindings, how did you do it? My experience was that the MSFS 2024 Clear function under Controls does not reliably clear all assignments.

I duplicate the default bindings for the Warthog, rename it FSUIPC, then one by one delete any bindings in that new profile. I agree the clear function does not currently always work.

Relatedly I'm trying to program my Thrustmaster with FSUIPC for PMDG planes in 2024. When I open the panel it doesn't recognize any of the switches. Does anyone know what's up with this? I have the paid FSUIPC.

As mentioned above, best to get help on the FSUIPC7 forum here

John Dowson is very helpful.

Have you tried reinstalling FSUIPC? When my MSFS 2024 didn't recognize FSUIPC (because I had changed from Xbox Store to Steam), I did so and it was fixed. I didn't even lose my settings.
