Strange MSFS 2020 is very stable for me, it used to take a long time on Checking for updates but not anymore and BATC is working fine too.

I agree, whatever they did to the 2020 servers that caused the checking for updates time to increase, was fixed after the sim wouldn't even start last week, and they were forced to fix the 2020 servers and return them to their previous condition.

  • For all you Idiotic conspiracy theorist 2020 is back up running as should. You can stop blaming 2024 for your sim not working

  • Yeah, 2020 never had server outages before 2024 😂

  • "Please note that it is a weekend and this may take a bit for them." Oh yes because a Massively Multiplayer Server Based Game/Simulation doesn't need any permanent staff looking over it at the we

Not sure about that. What likes the most for me is the simplicity to use Lossless Scaling. Not sure also about the use of the MSFS_AutoFPS, never tried it before, and I suspect I don't need it.

Look to what other users are saying about this utility:

"As for textures they are crystal clear to the horizon."  The point has been made before, but owing to atmospheric effects this is never the case in real-life aviation.

Yes, but the horizon in my case is defined by the point the atmospheric effects naturally decrease what is visible...

In some cases it is 20 miles, in some cases it is 40 and in others under the right conditions it can be 80+ but as far as the horizon allows I don't have blurry textures.

If you're happy with what you see in your simulator then all is well. Just saying that RL horizons on earth are always hazy. That will never change as long as we have an atmosphere. For folks interested in "immersion" this is important.
