My thoughts were simply for someone with next to no flying knowledge it could jump start them into having fun early on rather than frustration.

February 6, 20251 yr If you have two monitors, set one in front of you. And another one of about the same size to the right or left of it. Go to Youtube and find a teaching video. And copy on the left what he does on the right. You can pause his video and he isn't going to get tired of teaching because he isn't a real person, only a video from his past. These guy's training uses msfs 2020: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLT9HC-lC_17zINbJA7b9hkXS0eIKI62ai https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1AlvGUwm14CyoFO1txmy7vhpvjuOF3Ti 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. February 6, 20251 yr There's no reason to buy 2024, difficult to find teachers for that. 2020 standard edition is all you need. It's called the 40th Aniversay edition. When done training, then buy 2024 probably a higher version for more planes and airports. Instead of $59.99 you pay $37.49 here. there is no difference at all than if buying from Steam or from MS store. (Actually you get a keycode and then you will buy directly from the Microsoft store. Only cheaper). This link is for a PC desktop computer world wide. My 2024 version was bought at same place. https://www.cdkeys.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-windows-10-pc 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
