BATC weird instructions - backtrack when taxiways available

Featured Replies

All of a sudden BATC at airports like Lisbon ( LPPT ) runway 2, wants me to backtrack along the runway instead of following the parallel taxiway till the 20 interception ?

Same at LPFR for runway 10...

I noticed this last night at LGA - ground traffic to a halt. No departures from the airport because nobody could get to Rwy 31 (single runway due to wind, arrivals stacked, no time to back taxi)

You forget that YOU are the master of the house.
If any program screws up, YOU always have the option of switching off the crash detection, driving through the stationary aircraft and then enjoying the flight. If YOU don't, it's your own fault.

Backtracking on runway 2 doesn’t make much sense (just looked at the airport chart). Are you on the experimental branch? In the latest video, they mentioned that backtracking will be an option in the future. Could be related to that, I don’t know…

First thing I do with any sim is turn off crash detection.
