March 1, 20251 yr I think they get removed after engine start. I usually just Shift c and start my engines and I taxi just fine. I wonder if the efb has a section for removing those if they dont get auto removed? Maybe its plane related, some do, some dont Edited March 1, 20251 yr by lancealotg

What plane is that with? ignoring the EFB aspect for the moment, no plane should start and taxi if chocks & covers aren't removed, if they automatically vanish into thin air then that's another thing! In 2020 I used Ctrl F9 to set the Pilot IFR view or something, and that became my default view. This doesn't seem to work in 2024 so I used one of the Custom Camera Views for default view. Shift + C doesn't remove chocks, engine nor pitot covers and no can start without those removed. That is what Walk Around Manager solves, for $5. Shift + c and off I go. I tried the Cessna 172 and you are correct, it wont start without removing engine covers. Good to know.
