I see what you're saying but the C700 is also MS/Asobo and it's a superb bizjet.  I'd say the second most detailed behind the Hot Start Challenger in XP.

I like it, but. It is a very simple exterior model. But way better than the expert series ATR. I simply don’t believe that it is ms/Asobos interest to do an aircraft with depth. I may be wrong but that’s my thought.

Here's two whole hours of systems overview:  And 130 pages of manual: https://flightsimulator.azureedge.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Cessna-Model-700-Operators-Guide.pdf -Matt

  • Dream bizjet... hopefully it's got some love and tender care from the dev.  I don't mind a medium systems bizjet but I'm not buying a super lite one.

  • Found some more low res screen shots in this article. Wow! That modeling is spot on! PS. I work with these Praetors IRL daily and it looks like they nailed it! https://msfsaddons.com/20

Well I generally agree with you about the in depth part.  Quite honestly though, most simmers don't want uber high end in depth stuff.

But I'd be happy to spend a good amount of money on an in depth one.

I have flown some 400 hours in the standard CL. But after SWS and FSR it kinda got back in hangar. But a real nice a/c

Honestly the more I look at this modeling/texturing... that could be in-house Microsoft/Asobo.  Which I think would be a good thing - their visuals are superb and WT would do the Pro Line Fusion...  I don't see why it wouldn't be AS good if not better than the C700.  Since Microsoft and Embraer just began this partnership, I can't really see Microsoft handing the project off to another dev contract.  Just all speculation of course though!

I sat in one of these jets almost a decade ago in Duluth (before they turned into the Praetor), when Embraer was performing icing testing on the early Legacy 450/550 aircraft.  We got to meet the test pilots - they were amazingly kind and let us into the hangar to "play around" with the avionics.

Here's a few old pics I took!  I'll be honest I'm not even sure if the avionics are the same as what's used in the Praetor today?  Perhaps @Mets737 can tell us?

Yeah, they all share the latest iteration of the Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics suite. The EMB-550 type rating covers all the legacy's

Legacy 450
Legacy 500
Praetor 500
Praetor 600

So, no ideas on the Dev yet.

If I understand Jorg correctly in the dev stream, it’s an Asobo/WorkingTitle collaboration

Did they add wing flex to the 747s they did for v24 yet...?

I mean, it's in the original Default 747-8i...
