April 2, 200719 yr Author Odd? No. Seems kosher to me.I do have a couple of reservations, however: Should I be worrying about the quality of the downloads? Also, in the event of bandwidth saturation, how do I go about flushing the system before attempting to re-establish connection? The router will have to have a pretty effective hardware firewall to halt all those uninvited invaders in their tracks.Mike

April 3, 200719 yr Yeah, unfortunately, its obvious from the setup that if you tried to upload large packets, it could cause a backlog. But I think it would be great for streaming data. I noticed that they are running a special by giving away free high speed RotoRouter with each order.I just don't know, something just smells bad about this whole thing. We'll just have to wait and see since the situation remains fluid and any issues are being logged. And speaking of logs....
April 3, 200719 yr I'm just glad I don't have to run the cable. And boy, talk about a bad place to have an electrical short.
April 3, 200719 yr I also mention it in this earlier thread:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=30913&page=Or should I call it thread "NUMBER ONE" :)
April 3, 200719 yr Author Yes, John, sorry about that. I stumbled across your thread after I started mine.I think the community should now officially recognize your thread as "NUMBER ONE" and may I propose that my thread be referred to as "NUMBER TWO".Cheers!Mike
