Latest nvidia driver

The latest OLED TVs monitors are manufactured on pure black screens and pixel OFF gives real blacks. Colour is pixel on, and the inbuilt CPU can calibrate the colour to your liking without the need of third party tools.

I haven't been able to figure out how to use RTX HDR either. Currently I don't have the nvidia app installed (as I don't use any filters). One day I might try and fiddle around with it as I'm curious how RTX HDR looks vs "native" HDR.

I like the results of the NVidia app and filters - but there is an issue for those that "pop out" screens when filters are enabled.  The sim will freeze.

So then I moved to re-shade and am very happy with those results.

Let me know if you can enable the Details filter if it works!

Yes, it works (and other filters too) IF I don't enable FG. If I enable FG with the filters ON the sim crashes. I know you don't use FG, so you are ok.

Thanks it's possible I will on occasion us FG once I have more demanding planes in 2024 but right now def no need.  Sounds like there may not be any real advantage anyway so I think I'd best hold off.  It's pretty easy to get GFE working in case you'd rather...

That's right - I much prefer GFE to that nvidia app. It's easy to find an "outdated" version.
