April 13, 20251 yr The AR VR lens pen (also available on Amazon) Microfiber cloths may not be as safe on a lens. But the cloths are great to clean the lens pen head every once in awhile, before using the pen. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TCDS8JL/ 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. I guess they know better than some youtuber what they are doing. the only problem with them: they came free of charge without subscribe/like buttons.🤣 Edited April 13, 20251 yr by turbomax AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.
April 13, 20251 yr In their opinion section is mixed, even they leave carbon particles over the lenses that you have to blow them regarding some users haha. I have a silicone cover over the foam face gasket of the HP G2 to not let them absorb the everyday sweat, and after many hours of use each time, I clean it with a pair of those small wet supermarket towels with 75% alcohol for to clean hands etc., and a bit over lens inserts also a pair of times, and in the next day use, I clean those residues that left the wipes on the glass prescription inserts with microfibre, and perfect in cleanness and clarity.
April 13, 20251 yr Author What YT experts seem to say is that Kodak lens tissue used to be the standard and best. You preceded wiping by blowing off dust with a "puffer" brush. And then microfibers were invented and replaced tissue because it was softer. And then the Lens Pen (registered) came and photographers switched over to it because it was even safer. It uses a carbon pad. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. I don´t say that not, and thanks for posting it and share, though I remember to read people saying in the commentaries even that they have done scratches with that since the beggining, maybe a bad use from them. I am happy with my wet wipes and then microfibre, may I have to patent my method and it is the next evolution from carbon pads haha
April 24, 20251 yr Author the lens pen is working great for my Crystal Light ( which has glass lenses of course). The lenses looked clear before using, but the image was much better after wiping. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
