I've heard that Boeing planes were designed by pilots while Airbus was designed by engineers 😉

Probably one of the best planes I’ve ever flown in a simulation. 100% go ahead.

No suprise BOB. Like all your posts. If its not PMDG or MSFS2020 its boring and no good! Time to take off the blinders!

  • Fenix is a reliable ship to fly and works fine in 2024.. soon the BFU will make it native to 2024 which will bring many blessings for us! You'll enjoy it even now i think...

Boeing vs Airbus?

You will notice that landing the Boeing is such a workout that the pilot is in great shape. Landing the Airbus is so easy, that the pilot doesn't get a workout and is out of shape. ("Joking!!!!"):

Don’t hold me to this but I do recall real life pilots mentioning that the way the trim is implemented in the PMDG is a little off. Might’ve been this forum or another.

I have 2 PMDG 777s and the Flight Factor 777 v2. I haven't notice any differences as far as sim modelling goes.

Many thanks all for your overwhelming participation, pieces of advice, help offer if I get stuck, tutorials recommendations, and stories of transitioning from Boeing to Airbus! I've sent a like to everyone who participed in this thread. I've learnt some interesting things, like the BFU (Big Fenix Update) I was not aware of, like the A320 Fenix is the only plane some of you fly in FS2024.

Okay, so my take-away is: the A320 Fenix is the 'Community's Choice' Award.

Similar to the 'Editor's choice' in the magazines, but much more powerful 😉

What equipment are you flying the Fenix with? The TCA Airbus Captains Pack really increases the immersion level:

I purchased these mounts from Amazon which securely attaches the hardware to a desk and allows for height adjustment. When not in use, I clip the items to the side of the desk out of the way. The mounts have a quick release latch.

In case you missed it, the point is that 2 different simcraft makers have modelled it the same. I have not flown the CS777 in awhile but I bet it works the same too as on PMDG and Flight Factor. So I will not hold you to it

In case you missed it, real life 777 pilots have said that the speed trim is not modelled entirely accurately. I’ll go with what they’re saying as opposed to comparing two desktop flight sim planes in terms of flight model.

But I’ll give you a break you seem new to the hobby based on saying you only bought the 777 twice, ask the rest of us how many times we bought it.

Kids these days.

How is it not modelled accurately? What is not accurate? When you say pilots as in plural, what sample size are you talking?

Go do your own research. It’s as easy as a quick google or avsim search.

So easy that you can't find the reference that you are quoting? So you are now retracting your "don't hold me to this" statement. You are now saying it is fact? I don't believe it exists so no need for me to search, especially when you say don't hold me to this. Occam's Razor says 2 good companies won't get it wrong.

I said don’t hold me to it because I wasn’t sure if and where I read it, but a quick google search showed me the results I was looking for. www.google.com. On your way

Oh and no, no way a flight simulator developer can get flight characteristics wrong. There’s no way. Welcome to the hobby, hope you enjoy your time here. Highly recommend that you go to your local flight school and participate in an introductory flight. Won’t feel like the Cessna you fly at home.

Are you talking about the current PMDG 777 or the one they made in 2013? What decade does your don't hold me to this statement apply to?

Glad I seen the edited version, yes if you own the CS777, you’re automatically type rated on the 777 and 747-8. Smh

This has to be an internet forum first. Someone makes a statement that doesn't sound plausible or reasonable at all. In fact the poster doesn't even believe it themselves and qualifies there wild assertion with don't hold me to this. When asked for clarification but sensing that they have painted themselves into a corner, they simply reply that the information backing up their claim is all over the internet. And instead of sharing further details to back up there claims on a forum where people come to learn, they just say  "Google it and you will prove me right". I think if the information backing up your claim existed, you would have posted it.
