May 26, 20251 yr Was wondering if others get alot of what I call ghosting when using frame gen and more so at night when you are planning the plane in external view. I have the latest DLSS files and using K with MSFS2024. At night is more noticeable and it's like looking at 4 or 5 of my planes when planning around. Is there a solution to minimize this horrible effect? May 27, 20251 yr Author I use DLSS Quietly, will try TAA Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
May 27, 20251 yr Yeah I have this too. I think it's more DLSS than Frame Gen, although FG probably exacerbates it. I think it's all related to the same issue that causes blurring/smearing of the instruments as well. I'm willing to put up with it though because the difference in fluidity and frame rate is worth the slight trade off in sharpness. May 27, 20251 yr I’ve only ever had ghosting when my system couldn’t keep a high enough frame rate to use FG. It’s gone away since I can keep my rendered frames to 30fps. I don’t have a scientific and ironclad solution but for me, I had to play around with settings. Mainly TLOD. That uses a ton of VRAM. I can’t see what kind of GPU. I have a 4080. May 27, 20251 yr Author I have my frames capped at 40 and also use Lossness Scaling but turned that off to test and the issue was there so I can rule out LS.
