If you require an adjustment in percentage, please let me know. I will be in rotation for at least 12 hours before arriving to the hotel, where I can work on my laptop..

I am amazed that real airline pilots are passionate about PC flight simming. Several of my friends are airline pilots on aircraft such as the 738, 789, 773, A321, etc and have no idea that the PC flight sim world exists. I guess they feel that PC flight sim it is for non pilots?? Emi cuts flight sim videos from his hotel room on layovers! He travels with a gaming laptop. Wow!!!

Excellent mods as always, thanks very much for that, tried it and was surprised how well it hand flies now, it's a bit closer to the ifly max in that regard. The one thing that is a total immersion breaker still is the 50" sink that will occur always with this a/c, it's more notorious in the 800 and 900. Anyway to mitigate this?. They introduced this bug on purpose to correct another issue (another sinking issue at higher altitude than 50") but left it with this unforgivable bug.

So I adjusted the values for the correct mach/speeds, now I need the Vref for flaps up at max landing weight, I estimated to be at about 185. I don't remember, nor do I have the FCOM. Meanwhile, this is the new mod for the ground effect. You were mentioning about (another sinking issue at higher altitude than 50"), please explain.

I created an entire alias for my participation in the flight sim community, and I stay off of YouTube precisely because I live in fear of my peers discovering my involvement with the hobby 😁.  You are correct that it would not make sense at all to most folks at the US airlines, at least.  It would, I suspect, be interpreted as immature and unprofessional by some of them.  So anonymity it is.  I do stream some on Twitch but the kinds of folks that would look down on this aren't going to find me there, and those videos disappear.  Seems like a good compromise.

Hi, I tried the ground effect mod and I think it's better now (I mean regarding the sinking issue), I'll have to try it a bit more (thanks again for sharing). Here's the link with all the perfect explanation, the videos with zero wind, ac perfectly trimmed and not touching the yoke is perfect to see the bug. it's very interesting how PMDG is accepting that they induced the behavior to mitigate another one that is not as fundamental as the sinking at precisely 50 feet and left this till the actual version.

True enough! If I talk PC Sim with them it is "Yawn" and "Roll eyes" and then they say "I fly the $300 MM version". Plus they get to fly the CAE simulators and a few of them also own their own Cessna's or home builts. So no need for PC simulation. The airline pilots that do do PC simming and youtube videos, are doing it to monetize their knowledge by helping us PC simmers, to try to have an infinitesmal understandingof the complex concepts and technology of aviation. Lots of fun listening to my commercial pilot friends over beers and burgers. They do love the pilot talk and company belly aching. What a dream job.

What are your type ratings?

I remember a thread for a King Air model I had in FS9 or FSX where someone kindly registered to post help about a problem.

After a couple of replies, the poster realised he was on a forum for a sim model, not the real aircraft, made a comment to this effect and abruptly left, presumably never to return.

Nothing special here.  EMB-120, EMB-145, B737 here... Currently a 73 captain at a US legacy.  Was a check airman for years at my previous company so teaching got into my blood and never really left.  I think I do the streaming thing just to scratch that itch, besides teaching in GA airplanes.  No interest in monetizing it though!

Those planes are all special. Which 737? NG or Max? 7M9?

When I started we had classics and NGs.  Classics are gone and the Maxs are here now.  So in total, I've flown the -400 (pax, freighter, combi), -700 (pax and freighter), -800 (pax and freighter), -900, -900ER, Max8, Max9.  Good airplanes, I like the 73.  No other family out there is quite that versatile.  Hauling a load of Copper River kings out of Cordova one day, Maui the next.  I'm content 😉.
