Been wanting this since FSX

It looks interesting but from what I know and have been told, it's meant for more arcade-based users rather than those looking for accuracy.

I (and some others) expressed some concerns regarding visual accuracy externally and in the cockpit on inibuild's discord and was met with a couple of insults from their subscribed fanbase, and also met with a comment from an inibuilds rep saying not to hold it to the DCS Apache standard, and that the product is "inspired by" the AH-64, without a focus on complex systems. They did apparently relay one outside visual concern to KwikFlight with no promises that anything would be addressed.

Also, seeing feedback from a tester on the official MSFS forums in the "Hunter" thread there, it sounds like it has super basic, fictionalized flight dynamics, and odd rotor / engine behavior. Definitely a greater emphasis on the mission system and blowing things up vs helicopter accuracy, but if you say it's "inspired by" I guess you can do what you want.

It may be fun, but it isn't meant to be accurate or at all comparable to the DCS model based on what I've read and have been told in messaging.

So, fair warning that the more accuracy-focused audience may be out of scope for this product.

It was me! I am that guy 🙂

As discussed, this is aimed at a more casual user. The goal was to bring this product into the sim to both see what's possible with mission scripting as well as continue with KwikFlight's charter of providing well-detailed but accessible military-themed addons in the civilian simulation environment.
While you won't find complex multi-crew ops with this aircraft it should still allow for a nice change of pace from time to time.
On the note we discussed regarding the gear compression, the released build should better suit what you'd expect to see with this airframe.

That does look cool and whilst it will serve to have a "play" with in MSFS it should be treated as a "simple" combat aircraft, if you want detailed combat other Sims are far better suited obviously. I think there's definitely a market for casual combat within MSFS, so good luck to them, I shall wish list it for now.

It does look like it would be entertaining.  Not something I’d use a ton myself, so probably a “wait for a sale” item for me.

I have the DCS Apache, and it is wonderful.  However, like most DCS aircraft, it’s not something I can just pick up and play, the gaps between sessions with it erode my muscle memory of using the systems.  Unfortunately I really don’t have the time to dedicate to maintaining my abilities on complex DCS modules so I appreciate that something like this exists when I get the urge to blow some things up virtually.
