Beautiful shots Ron!

The best ACA livery in my opinion. 😊

I painted it on the iFly 747 years ago and remains one of my favorites to this day. (the 747 looks GREAT in this livery)

I will probably paint it again in 2020/2024 when we see a 747-400 arrive on the scene.

Nice complement, Steve, from the teacher to the (now) accomplished (one time) pupil ...🙂...

BTW, this (C-GAGN) AC 747-400 of yours, I must have flown several times ...in my (slightly) younger FSX days ...🙂...In fact, I spotted it today still flying high in the Flight1 Repaint Library with your unmistakable signature on the thumbnail image...🙂...

Good to hear from you...!

Thanks.  Yeah Ron and I have spoken a few times on all things flightsim painting, he's got it down now. 🙂   I'm getting old and don't get as excited as I used to about painting aircraft....a lot of young whipper-snappers out there that put me to shame now. (Jviation, I'm talking to you, hehe).  Jordan is a master painter at the ripe old age of 21 (or is it 22 now).  Heck...I have clothes older than him, LOL.
We've collaborated on a few projects (including the iFly MAX series)...I even bought him a copy of the plane a few years back just so he'd paint SWA on her (Unequivocally the best SWA painter out there)...now he's on the beta team with me and we were responsible for many paintkit improvements and ease-of-life additions to it, it is very easy to paint (relatively speaking, hehe).

I really enjoyed painting the old ACA colors on that magnificent bird...was and still is one of my favorites.  I gave her a lot of wear and dirt...as most combi's seem to accumulate.

Heck...I also love painting KLM and Lufthansa, hehe...and the Air Pacific was just fun.  I had to have a 747 to fly to Fiji afterall. 🤣

When iFly released the 747 BCF Freighter...this was the 1st one I painted (and coincidentally, the 1st 747 with the BCF conversion)😉 (I love the old Cathay livery as well)

When we get a good 747 in 2024, I may paint a few...we'll see, LOL.

Good looking plane, perfect paint. And it's a nice design, a bit retro style...
