Nothing I am getting looks like the videos I have seen.

Something is off with your trees.. do you have a tree addon?  Here is my view over Central Park:

It should look like Paul’s screenshot.

If it doesn't then something is wrong. I bought mine in a Marketplace sale, it installed and just worked so I can't really advise on what to do.

OK, I like to come back with more info, as available, since people have taken the time to try to help me.

So I found this little FAQ file on the Samscene website, where someone asked why they were still seeing the crappy default scenery even though the product was installed in their Community folder.

These are the steps that were recommended, and that I executed. FYI this was all done with SU2, not SU3.

1. Delete Rolling Cache

2. Delete Content.XML

3. Delete all scenery .dat files

After I did these steps, I once again flew over to Manhattan. At first the scenery was popping in like crazy. I assumed it was a Rolling Cache thing so I just flew around the city all over several times to give the system time to get used to me being there.

After about 5-10 minutes of flying around, the scenery popping reduced greatly, and in fact, NY started looking like I was expecting.

So I learned some new stuff about initializing the system for new scenery addons, and both my Las Vegas addon and my NY addon look much better than they did before.
