July 19, 2025Jul 19 I have seen lots of videos of people flying VR around New York and the videos look amazing. But when I fly around New York, it looks OK but not that great. Is there a New York addon that some of you are using that makes New York look considerably better? July 19, 2025Jul 19 Hi Rob, I don't do VR, but I believe you mean New York City Times by SamScene3D: https://samscene.com/products/new-york-city-times-for-msfs This one also helps: https://secure.simmarket.com/rkbridger-all-29-new-york-bridges.phtml PC: Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 Super Aorus Master, DDR5 G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2X32 GB, Corsair HX 1000, Fractal Torrent, Samsung LC32 / G7 1440P.
July 19, 2025Jul 19 +1 for Samscene, but I don't think the RKBridger addon works well with the latest update with double bridges in one or two places. I hope he updates it as his bridges look pretty good otherwise. July 19, 2025Jul 19 Samscene 3D, definitely. It appears they now offer two versions V1 and V2 for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024, respectively. I have V1 in MSFS2020, but I've yet to try porting it into MSFS2024. If I have to buy V2, then so be it - no quibbles, it's that good. July 19, 2025Jul 19 Author Maybe I am not flying in the right spot. I bought and added the Samscene addon (V2), but I am flying around NY city and I don't think it looks that good. Are you flying around Manhattan? Can you take some screen shots?

What is downtown like? That's where Samscene really shines...
July 19, 2025Jul 19 My experience of it, in MSFS2020; money well spent, in my opinion ( both scenery and aircraft ). Edited July 19, 2025Jul 19 by Paul K Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

That's where Samscene really shines... I know Central Park is trees. However, I have seen video where the building bordering the park, at least on one side, look really good, but I don't see buildings on either side of the park looking good. Nothing I am getting looks like the videos I have seen. I have no problem what the issue could be. Is there some conflict between photogrammetry and the addon? Do I need to do anything with the package order to make this right? I see I accidentally forgot to put in a tag. My system in on SU3 Beta.
