Chaseplane causing FFX Citation X and PMDG777 tablet problems

Chaseplane v2025.29.4.12 for MSFS2020.
Causes problems with the FlightFX Citation X tablet on my 2 monitor setup.

I had similar issues using the “look” function in the interactive checklists with Chaseplane - clicking on an eye icon would either do nothing or take me somewhere other than the intended target. 
 

I ended up binding a key on my joystick to the “toggle chaseplane” function. That worked quite well for me, while waiting for the devs to fix the issue.

Everything works fine here. FS2020, Chaseplane and the FXX Citation X tablet. I'd suggest reinstalling the Citation and if that didn't fix the problem, reinstall Chaseplane. 

I don't have the PMDG 777 installed in Fs2020.

Does your setup include 2 montors?

The only solution I have found for my WIN11 2 monitor setup is to Uninstall Chaseplane v2025.29.4.12.

Then, tablets work properly with PMDG777 and FFX Cessna Citation X.

 

 

Update:
Reinstalled Chaseplane 2025.29.4.12

Tested a default aircraft first.
Looking good except it had the “focus” problem when trying to turn a knob e.g. like on the Radio panel.
Clicking on the knob did nothing until I focused the vc cockpit view away from the Chaseplane User Interface.
Now knobs in the vc cockpit are working again.
So, the same problem as originally reported (focus) for Chaseplane is back.

 

Next I tested the FFX Cessna Citation X.

Good news : 
The Tablet functions normally.
Tilt, rotate etc, all selections and modes working (screenshot).

Bad news:
I got an error box from Chaseplane (screenshot).

I cannot select or view anything in the vc cockpit.
I can still at this point keep using the Tablet as normal.

So, it appears the Tablet is not in any way influenced by Chaseplane.
Working normally.

Next I exited MSFS2020.
Rebooted PC.

Started a new flight with the Citation X.

Original problem is now back as shown in my video (screenshot).
Tablet (focus) problem has returned and all selections in the Chaseplane User Interface working properly.

I have now installed MSFS2020 on a second PC with two monitors to help sort out my two monitor Chaseplane problem.

Before I install FlightFX Cessna Citation X and Chaseplane I on the second PC I will just test with default MSFS2020 aircraft.

 

Seeing you have a working two PC setup with Chaseplane and FFX Citation X could you share some of your setup with me?

Are you using WIN11 with 2 Monitors in Windowed mode Extended to your second monitor?
Which Chaseplane User Interface are you using?
Is the Chaseplane User Interface on your primary monitor or the second monitor?

Could you provide a couple screenshots showing what is on each monitor?

Win11 in Full Screen mode on monitor 1

No

Interface? Default and windowed both used but not at same time.

Chaseplane has been on both monitors while setting up views in different planes.

No screenshots. Monitor 1 has MSFS. Monitor 2 usually has Active Sky, Neofly, Lorby's AAO, Little Navmap, Flight Control Replay each in their own window.

I kept testing, even  different aircraft, trying to understand how you had it all working and I did not.

Turns out you do not have the same setup I reported in my first post and video.
That is why you do not see the problem I am reporting.

I do not see this issue with the same add-ons and the setup is also the same, with one exception - I run the sim in full screen rather than windowed. Could that be the issue?
