Did you know that they were a VOR Check location at Toussus ? Less and less used, a VOR check done at this compass rose verifies the aircraft’s VOR navigation accuracy against a fixed airport reference point. This ensures compliance with regulations requiring checks within ±4° for safe IFR operations.

An attempt - with my limited Blender skills - to mimic the Hégé Hélicoptère building and updates on some other east building zone.

To join/leave the historical - but still in use - Farman hangar you have to cross the airport's road.

Not AVGAS, not JetA1 and even not Electric (look in the back of the screenshot the electric aviation charging station), this is a SP98 (unleaded fuel):

Frankly, amazing details here...Vincent...feels like being given a VIP tour of the airport premises...without a VIP Pass...🙂...

The buildings, taxiways, roads, aprons, grass and dirt areas...all look immaculately rendered ...at least to my eyes...

Thanks for this work...and the historical tidbits too...!

Didn't want to recreate a new thread. Here're some screenshots of the new version 4 with new handcrafted taxiway signs, option to remove static aircraft and many more small updates (that no one will ever notice ;)

The new 25L/07R just re-opened last week:

Examples of a complex signs hard to mimic with the default SDK:

Note the anti-roosting spikes on the APRON sign ;) Will someone notice the difference of colors. As real as it gets ;)

Updating the taxiway signs of this small GA airport in south west of Paris requires to manually do 50+ object! I can't imagine the work done by pro on big airports.

Only hard core simmer will recognize where this pic is taken:

euQrb4.jpg

... it's the famous SIERRA VRP (Visual Reporting Point) to entering the pattern (or circuit). The two first (in south) pylons are the SIERRA point.

The default SDK Taxiway sign doesn't look like this from the front or behind, but it's how they are in the real Toussus-le-Noble:

... and for those not familiar with the location of LFPN ;)

The big orange area is Paris and the immediate suburb. Downtown is free of any flights <=6300 ft (except emergency, military, gov...) and the rest is mostly forbidden to VFR ;)

Actually, It's also in the main MSFS Forum (https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/639628-toussus-le-noble-lfpn-freeware/page/4/#findComment-5800406). In this Screen Shots section, it's the only way to share several screenshots.
