Tobi Eye Tracker 5

Last day of the 15% off deal and thinking about it.

Here's the question... Anyone have any luck with using it on a 65" OLED? Read about it not working that good with anything past a 48" or so.

Thanks

I have one but dont use it at all because I cant find the right config. Somehow if I look to the right it has a lot of sensitivity but nearly no sensitivity at all if Iook to the left. The same happens looking up and down. I have a lot more sensitivity if I look down and nearly no sensitivity at all looking up.

I need to find some time to fiddle with it a bit

This is my concern, that it will be beneficial enough for the price. Peripherals always need "fiddle time" to get them right but, it's not like going from a screen to VR, where there's a huge difference in immersion.

Enjoy if you can but no stress as these deals pop up very often.

As far as I understand, the main issue with Tobii and "big" screens are with the eyes tracking. I don't think there'sn't any issue with the head tracking. I personnally have disabled the eyes and only rely on head. And I loooooooooooove it.

The limitation of the tracker HAVING to be below the monitor was a deal breaker for me as I was not able to get my flight stick/yoke in a position that didn't block the tracker. Not being able to pause tracking without resetting to center position was another annoying deal breaker.

That makes it easier. Think I'll do more investigating.

I'm basically in the same situation. I also have a  race wheel up higher than the bottom of the display, which I'm sure could cause issues, to say the least. I suppose I could make a quick disconnect of sorts for the wheel base.
