Need help, X-Codr KDEN not showing up after Orbx install

Featured Replies

I purchased the X-Codr KDEN scenery for MSFS24 via Orbx and after installing it to the Community folder the scenery doesn't show up in sim when I spawn at KDEN.  I've disabled the Gaya and Asobo scenery that comes with 2024 but I just can't figure out why the new scenery won't show up.  Any ideas?

You should ask in their discord... the developer has been real responsive and is one of my favorite developers for flightsim for how polite and respectful they are even to stupid questions (that i my self have asked that is)...

You were right - i got awesome support on Discord from X-Codr.  After install the scenery defaulted to disabled under "Community Content" in content manager.  There were three different KDEN scenery versions - 1) Gaya sim, 2) Asobo and 3) The X-Codr version (listed under community content).  Once I enabled the version under community content it came up no problem

interesting.  I was under the impression that the gaya version was the asobo version as gaya does most of their handcrafted ones.

I was too under the same impression, but Kevin is right. In my MSFS2024 File Library (Xbox), I’ve often seen 2 base versions of airport sceneries e.g., for KDEN, I have currently these 2 distinct versions:

KDEN ASOBO - (MSFS2020) Unverified/Disabled

and

KDEN GAYA - (MSFS2024) Streamed/Active

Apparently, GAYA association is only with the later (handcrafted) KDEN version, but not with the original MSFS version.

This is becoming an issue. I also purchased xcodr kden and the performance was terrible. So I thought. More than likely I was streaming all three airports. Well, looks like a trip to kden is in order. I'm going to have to check every payware airport for conflict
