November 2, 2025Nov 2 Hi folks,what in the world happens only when overflying LSZH???,at cruise altitude,I get a huge spike in my GPU VRAM and collapses looking in dev mode… Only happens in Swiss airspace,I may fly London,Frankfurt,Dubái,New York WITHOUT any problem… Driving me crazy…. November 2, 2025Nov 2 Do you have a lot of addon scenery installed in this area? Addon photogrammetry eats VRAM for breakfast especially so if it hasn't been well optimised (as a lot isn't). Negative mate!,only LSZH from mkstudios and sometimes the fsdreamteam one deactivating the other one and making some test with same cathastrophic result….

November 2, 2025Nov 2 sounds silly, for me around Zurich LSZH, trees mixed with photogrammetry is the culprit, since I set Trees to medium all is fine, SU4 Beta. I don't know it's the same problem for you if you are flying high, I was low. Just try. McDan out
November 2, 2025Nov 2 Funny thing: LSZH was always my No.1 performance test scenario. In FSX and earlier, in P3D and now also in both MSFS sims. No idea why, but LSZH was and is always a performance hog. I get lower FPS over there in the ini A350 with AI traffic than e.g. in EGLL from ini. Which cant really be, no? Turning off photogrammetry cures it fully in MSFS2024, but I dont want to turn this off just for one scenery. November 2, 2025Nov 2 Nothing to do with your issue, I’m afraid, and nothing to do with flight sim… but, if you’re ever around Zurich airport IRL, you can do behind the scenes tours including apron access etc. I highly recommend.
