WinWing PFP 7 stays on WinWing screen

Featured Replies

I've sent a ticket to WinWing, but thought I may get a faster response here.

I've just installed the PFP7 and everything looks correctly installed...the correct keys are being selected in the SimApp Pro app. However, I've loaded up the PMDG 777-200ER in MSFS2024 and the FMC just stays on the WINWING screen, it doesn't load up the FMC...how do I get it to do this?

AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo
64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance
32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card

Check if your MSFS folders are configured correctly, in my case it looks like this up to 24. Steam version

Sometimes I find just closing and restarting SImAppPro once you're loaded into the sim at the gate can fix this.  It seems to pop up every once and a while where SimAppPro isn't properly connecting the hardware to the sim.

Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

Get this issue sometimes with 737 CDU or A320 MCDU. Sometimes find turning on the system in game sometimes work if not doing what regis9 mentioned.

People have experienced bad customer service besides that perfectly fine no issues.

Winwing support was very bad when I needed it , over 3 days on live chat with support got nowhere and just kept going round in circles.

What I ended up doing was uninstalled Simappro then made sure all simappro folders left after the unistall where manually deleted .

Restarted my PC

Started MSFS 2024 without simappro installed

Restarted PC again

Then Downloaded and installed a fresh copy of simappro

Happy Days

I had to do these steps including manually deleting folders as a simple unistall and re-install did not fix the problems  on my PC

I dealt with support when my Airbus throttle arrived with a switch not functioning.  Support was a bit annoying to deal in that they asked for a lot of information that seemed unnecessary and asked me to open the device up to troubleshoot.  The time zone change made this an even more time consuming process as I’m a 12 hour difference from them.

Eventually though they sent me a brand new one and asked that I destroy the old one.
