Regardless of whether the switch is on or off and the message is displayed or not, I still see the issue on my computer. Now, if we take note of the SDK and adjust yaw_moment_yaw_damping =, side_force_slip_angle =, and yaw_moment_slip_angle =, the airplane will fly more realistically with respect to the wind changes, and I don't notice that dutch roll tendency anymore. I'm not dismissing the logic behind the switch; I don't have your inside information, but those changes I mentioned have some results. Very interesting. Freshly retired after 41 unforgettable years on the Boeing 747. The flying days may be behind me, but the memories never will be. Now I have the privilege of sharing those experiences—and continuing to learn alongside the next generation of pilots—in the Level D simulator.
