I was looking for news on the 500 update that I heard about, but saw these in a late Dec message from Raul. Looking VERY sharp!

Now, if we could just convince him to do a Bell 407 or 505 with Garmin glass, we'd have a GREAT trifecta! 😉

It's a FINE jet! I just got it during the recent sale and am really impressed - and i'm sure i'll be even more so once I can get my hands on v2's new flight model 🙂

I'm assuming it's going to be even nicer than his FSR500, which to this day is my "GoldiLocks" addon in MSFS.

I know it's fashionable to prefer steam gauge cockpits, but I just really love a good Garmin glass setup. 😎

I love Garmin glass, except the g1000.  So I don't fly the m500 as much as I should.  I do know it's one of the best turbine flight models around though!

Oh - interesting!

what about it don’t you like?

for me it’s all about the increased SA from the moving map.

in re the FM, it’s really nice. The only thing I’ve seen is an IRL M500 pilot say that prop drag isn’t modeled, so it’s hard to get slowed down on approach.
I personally just drop the gear right at vlo instead.
(Raul said it’s not modeled because the CFD parameter doesn’t exist (at least for v2020). And he didn’t want to hack it with an invisible air brake or some such (I would happily accept that alternative, tho. It’s always good to be able to fly book numbers with book configs).

You think that's bad... try flying a G1000 with the TRUTRAK Sorcerer autopilot

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

Irl yes it's fine.

In the sim too many buttons to click on, and harder to click in VR

I prefer the touch bases stuff like g3000/5000/G3X and of course the GTNxi
