This video just got recommended to me. Dagogo from Cold Fusion does pretty good work.

Basically, they did a study where typical creative jobs were given to AI. The AI did not do well. One example was a request for an 8 minute video produced a video 8 seconds long. Lots of details in the Dagogo's video above.

One thing I found amusing is that there is a market for professional programmers to "fix" AI vibe coded output. I wonder if it will get as big or as lucrative as the push to fix Y2K problems in 1999. 🙂

Apparently, Windows 11 contains considerable AI generated code.

Some things AI is doing well, but AI can't simply replace us, at least not yet. Probably not for a very long time.

People who are looking forward to AI taking over will be disappointed and are likely to push back. People worried about AI taking over will breathe a sigh of relief.

Yep, Windows 11 contains something like 30% AI written code and from what I have read, Windows 11 has plenty of problems when updates are applied.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

This HAS to be a Dilbert comic.

Only Dilbert's pointy haired boss would think this is a good idea. I can see Wally saying, "Let's pretend we like it to see who agrees with us."

Very reminiscent of scenes in iRobot.

Clearly the robot bodies will be ready, top-notch, by the time the robot brains are super smart.
