Free Airports

Featured Replies

A short while ago I started reading a post called "Top 25 Free Airports" but lost it for some reason.

I have searched this forum but cannot find it.

If anyone (or perhaps the original poster) remembers this post, can you please send me a link?

Thanks,

Dave Hinson

"Free" in terms of "no additional cost to the original sim": many of the handcrafted World Update airports are good freeware quality.
Just install them and keep the ones you like.

Dave there are many great creators of freeware airports, it just depends on what size airfields and regions you prefer.  When you find a great scenery on flightsim.to, just click the uploader - in many cases they have made many more great ones. The guy who posted above me in this thread is one of the best!

I had been thinking about showcasing these vids, but didn't want to seem to be spamming.

However....

Hi Guys,

Here is an update for Menorca Airport. Please note that this is a freeware project and not all areas of the airport have been edited or implemented 1:1. For example, the area behind the airport has not been edited, but this may be included in a later update.

Errors can and probably will occur, so I welcome your suggestions for improvement.

If anyone would like to create a GSX profile, I would be very happy to help and will do everything I can to support them.

What's new:

Revised ground textures, markings

Center and edge lights

3D models for Tower, Apron light, some Buildings and the main terminal you can also walk in with ego perspective.
