March 1Mar 1 I'm using a regular PC office chair with two bass shakers, but I wonder if there'll be huge a difference if I'd go with the Next Level Racing Flight Seat Pro Boeing Military Edition vs the regular PC office chair, regarding the bass shakers. Are there pros / cons with the NLR seat Pro Boeing Military Edition vs the regular PC office chair? Any advices are welcome, thank you. https://flight-simulators.co.uk/acatalog/Next-Level-Racing-Boeing-Military-Cockpit-679.html I apologize if I posted in the wrong place I9 12900k@ 5 GHz | 64 GB DDR5 | Asus Z790 | RTX 5090 | 8K Samsung Q900C 75" | VKB MK III PRO L | Virpil Throttle MONGOOST-50 | MFG Crosswind | TrackIR5
March 2Mar 2 I strongly believe that an office chair is an order of magnitude more comfortable than a gaming chair. Gaming chairs are based on flight chairs or racing car chairs. Those types of chairs were not designed for comfort, but to protect you in a crash, to hold your head and protect your neck. I bought a used steelcase office chair from the company that made this video. They sell all the major brands of office chairs. They used to sell gaming chairs for years, but their salemen did not like them when tested against office chairs. I bought the $385 (out of stock oldest Leap V.2). Extremely comfortable. https://www.btod.com/refurbished/?sort=best_match The only other seller I considered to be as reliable was Crandall: https://crandalloffice.com/pages/shop-all-office-chairs-returns-and-office-chair-parts 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. March 3Mar 3 The Herman Miller chairs and the Steelcase are the two most loved office chairs. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. March 3Mar 3 +1 for SteelCase - we had SteelCase chairs in our business for years (don't remember the models...from the '90s) - they last forever and are VERY comfortable. I bought a new Leap chair from a reseller (no SteelCase warranty) for around $400 brand new. I don't like the Leap as well as the chairs we used in our business but it's not bad. I would like to get back to a nicely padded SC chair and will probably by buying one in the near future. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
