Stutters galore last night…

Featured Replies

I think there have been server issues on and off today.  First thing this morning I kept getting a waiting for authentication message and this evening, MSFS was reporting that it could not connect to the X Box app.  This morning performance was a bit flaky and this evening pretty stuttery.  During the middle of the day, everything was running quite smootly without any issues.  I've been flying in the same areas with the same settings and addons all day.

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

I've had heavy stutters and VRAM warnings at custom EIDW with PG on today, where I wouldn't normally get that.

Perhaps it is server related then, must do more testing tomorrow after work

I discovered if a START a new MSFS launch with a flight at KDEN with PG disabled then no issues, whereas if I start with PG enabled, bad stuttering.  Also, if I start with PG enabled then disable PG stutters remain.  That was yesterday....

Lately with SU4, when I get around 15K on a decent into Boise where I fly in and out of quite alot I get these major frame drops..I lock my frames at 60 and the whole flight even during departure frames would stay for the majority at 60. But now when I start getting close to the destination airport area my frames are all over the place, from 60 go 40 then back to to 60 then 55, 50, 45...and so on then it gets locked again at 60 when Im on approach. Anyone else getting these drops. Again, I deleted my rolling cache and fly out of KBOI all the time and never had these issues in the past. I would say its been like 2 weeks that I have seen this,

What is complaining about it here going to do?

Generally when I have issues I believe are caused by Microsoft or my ISP I let them know.

Coming here to moan will not get there attention to solve the problem.

I've no luck so far, it's still just as bad.

It's going to let you know you're not alone, or are alone.
