April 6Apr 6 Coming back to FS20 after a 4 month break. Doing all the updates and tidying up. After updating I noticed I can no longer enter Windowed Mode. ALT + ENTER now simply minimizes the sim. I tried selecting Windowed from the menu but that does not work either. Is anyone else seeing this? Did they remove it? If not then something strange is going on with my system. ALT + ENTER works for my other games. Thanks for any advice Edited April 6Apr 6 by ThrottleUp
April 6Apr 6 Mine works as always - insider preview here. Learning to fly gliders since 1980Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)

April 7Apr 7 Could it be that you MSFS window position went bad and like out of the screen ? Try clicking on the taskbar, and select one of the choices like "cascade windows" or "set windows side by side"... not sure about the exact titles in English, sorry...
April 8Apr 8 1 Alt + Tab allows you to select the window of your choice. 2 Alt + Spacebar then allows you to move that chosen window all around the screen with the arrow keys. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. April 27Apr 27 Author Update After a recent update the problem has suddenly fixed itself. Windowed mode works great now, thanks for all your suggestions 😊 I have 4 screens one of which is the big tv. Depending on mood I have to drag the sim to the tv or back to the monitor. When it was not going into Windowed I couldn't do this. Once on the desired screen I max it to fullscreen.
