May 7May 7 If you use the vJoy virtual device driver for your flight controls, you will find that with the arrival of SU5, your vJoy device is no longer listed in the controls, and instead, a phantom Tobii controller has taken it's place. If you have both, you'll find a second Tobii device listed, and neither will work unless you disable vJoy in the Windows Device Manager.. This was a most unwelcome discovery here, as my flight control setup uses vJoy to tailor control inputs from several devices. Apparently this issue was discovered months ago in the beta, and released anyway. So far, MSFS 2020 is uninfected by this programmatic malfeasance. May 7May 7 I do have this same problem on my Fulcrum One Yoke. I’m not sure if that device uses vJoy virtual driver. Probably not. Under my controllers I noticed a second Tobii device. I don’t have Tobbi tracker in the first place. I was able to reassign my axis and buttons but I had to rename the de ice and the graphic to the right still shows a Tobii tracker. Hopefully Asobo can fix it.
May 7May 7 I'd highly encourage anyone encountering this problem to go over to the official forums and vote in this topic in the hopes that it will get noticed by the devs: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/vjoy-device-disappeared-with-su5/758151/17
May 8May 8 Day before yesterday when entering the cockpit my TrackIR wasn't working although I had a green detection light and a blue sim connection light on it. At the same time I was greeted with a message that I had to center my headtracking (doesn't mention which headtracking device) which didn't work. Went into the settings / controllers only to discover that my TrackIR was detected as a Tobi...but... I don't have a Tobi!! Only way out was quit to desktop and restart the sim. Then TrackIR was TrackIR again and it worked as before. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600.
