I learned this the hard way. pete The Citation X has an auto-tune function - unless you put a frequency in the box, it's going to auto-tune whatever it thinks is appropriate to (I think) do position updating. Not a bug - operator error.

To hand fly VOR/ILS you need to use the FMS TUNE to get the NAV radio out of Auto mode and into Manual mode by selecting a navaid’s frequency.
