Checking out Spotty v1.3 Traffic Board with FlyBy-and Tower

Featured Replies

View any airplane with a click in the Trafficboard Flyby or Tower cameras. Very easy to check out all traffic on any airport. I am using AIG as injector. Should work fine with any injector.

I'm interested in a SIMPLE flyby activated by a hotkey and don't want anything else, no GUI to select planes to watch, just the flyby. Anyone know if this is possible w/ this app?

I know the "F" key has been hard-coded to bring up the Flyby view. I am unsure if that can be changed (I dont see an obvious way to do that).

... and I just tested: I need to have the Spotty26 app focused (selected, active) to have the CAM on/off feature activated via the Space Bar, with previously having selected the FlyBy mode via F key. Don't know either how to edit these assignments.

Parallel42 ChasePlane is not an alternative for having just the FlyBy feature?

I use an XBOX controller for camera handling in MSFS. You just click a button on it to activate Camera, selecting a camera mode, and move the sticks to move around the camera. Spotty26 does not need to be in focus. Using an XBOX controller is so much easier when dealing with MSFS cameras.

Spotty26 v1.3 has joystick implemented. You just click a button to switch between cockpit / Flyby camera.

That doesn't sound great and I just bought it. That means it's gone past the 'SIMPLE' hotkey activation. We'll give it a try and see...

Not for me, CP is just too much for that simple FB feature. I really like the default camera system including drone operation and new plane camera setup is a breeze.

It will be good enough--Spotty26. I'm able to shrink it down and put it in a discreet location and all that one has to do is hit the CAM button, then F or Flyby button and it works.

Thanks all this will work until such time that MS/A wakes up and restores this insanely simple but well enjoyed feature 😉

Is there a way to watch planes fly by on the ground or on arrival? I have been playing around with this program, but I don't know how to achieve what I'm looking for. I see in the promotional videos this being done but I can't seem to get the same results. I am also wondering if you can save the view in chase mode. I would like to see the planes from the side all the time and not have to spend time getting the view every time I click on a plane. Thanks
