December 8, 200223 yr I need help too..........My RCV3 is installed in the D drive, and I am using Windows ME. What string would I use?Thanx, Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
December 8, 200223 yr Hello Geofa,Yes /Realtime should work, although I have not yet tried, but I will.Strange that you are getting an error... Are you running WP? That's what I am running. Maybe you could search for the localisation of CMD.EXE. The string should point to it. On my WP it's located in Windows/System32. On Windows 2000 it's in WINNT/System32.J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI

December 8, 200223 yr Howard, mine is on D too. Here is the string I have set-up (Win XP):C:WINDOWSsystem32cmd.exe /C start /High D:rcv30rcv3.exeI do not have Windows ME. Please have a search on where CMD.EXE is located and have the string point to that folder. For example for Windows 2000 it's in WINNT/System32J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
December 8, 200223 yr Hi,The problem you are seeing is becausr RC30 is installed in a directory tree which has spaces in it (program files).I resolved this isue by cut & paste of RC30 directory to the root directory and altering the script accordingly...I sent this to JD this PM so no doubt it will become part of the 'official solution' soon. This is a problem with the script reqirements of the shortcut command line, please note that enclosing the paths in quotes will not work in this case. Also use not / in the paths and / not for the command flagsexamples:C:WINDOWSsystem32cmd.exe /C start /realtime c:/rcv30/rcv3.exeor if you put in a sub directoryC:WINDOWSsystem32cmd.exe /C start /realtime c:SubDirNameWithNoSpacesrcv30rcv3.exeBest WishesAshley
