September 28, 200322 yr Is there any way to make the ATC use turn left or right for turn directions all the time instead of fly heading. Just get rid of fly heading all together. September 28, 200322 yr Moderator Bill,It's decided programatically. Sometimes you'll get "fly heading x" and other times you'll get "turn left/right x degrees". There's no way for the end user to change which one you get.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). September 28, 200322 yr I think this has been mentioned before, but I get 'turn left/right x'. There's no 'degrees' mentioned. I think I even looked for a 'degrees' wav file but never found one - should I have one?Ian Ian Box
September 28, 200322 yr Author All I get is the ATC saying fly heading. Atc have'nt once said turn left/right. I checked to make sure the wav files are in the correct folders and they are there. For some reason their not being used.Bill M Bill McIntyre Asus StrixB650E-F Gamer, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Corsair Titanium DDR5 64GB, Samsung 990 PRO-4TB M.2, (4) 2TB SSD's, Corsair H1150i liquid cooler, RTX 2080TI Founders Edition, (2) LG 34" HD Curved Monitor, Sound Blaster Audigy X, 1Kw PC Power & Cooling Power Supply, Corsair Obsidian Full tower Case. September 28, 200322 yr Moderator Ian,<>No sorry, that was a senior moment from me. Turn left/right xx" is all you should hear.Hope that clears up any confusion (mostly on my part! :-))Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). September 28, 200322 yr Commercial Member i'm sure there are a number of places in the code that directs you to change heading. i may not have gotten them all. i know that some of the fly headings are coded to say turn left or turn right.either way is correctjd JD Read my blog
September 29, 200322 yr Is it "turn right to x" (heading) or "turn right x" (heading change) when turn direction is given? As for when a direction degree change use is indicated I think that would occur for relatively small changes such as path corrections for wind variance or traffic avoidance, say up to twenty degrees, but not where a major vector change is under way such as downwind to base. That make sense? Maybe for consideration in next version.
September 29, 200322 yr JD,Since I have Traffic V's off, I never get Turn Left/Right. All I ever get is fly heading xx.
