September 20, 200520 yr Commercial Member the code will be ready. web page, shipping company, order page updates, batch of test cd's to run through the process, and all the other stuff i've forgottenboxed version? what does that mean? it will ship in a jewel case, like v3. there will be no printed manual (it's over 250 pages!). the manual will be available in .doc format and pdf format. the cost to print and ship the manual would be quite prohibitive.jd JD Read my blog
October 4, 200520 yr I just bought myself a copy of RC 3.1. (purchase date: 10/3/05) doh!I should have waited. *chuckle* I haven't paid enough attention to this development-- last time I bought it was version 2.2, I believe. Perhaps I'll be able to hang my hat on a free upgrade to v4 based on purchase time.
October 4, 200520 yr I probably would have gotten v3.1 months ago, if the ever-persistent rumors about the impending v4 release weren't spread across this and other message boards. I would probably still get v3.1, if someone let us know, if and how much the upgrade pricing would be.Please, no more announcements for the next release until it's DONE. ;-)
