As I have never tested an Aerosoft plane, I really want to know what we should expect. A plane as PMDG, I mean as realistic (as real as it gets) or something more like QUALITYWINGS, beautiful designed aircraft but not fully simulated. Could be nice to have an answer which this aircraft is intented to ?

I know that we need to be constructive but Carenado don't address bug... take a look at the C90 incredible list of bugs which has not been resolved. They made a very small SP1 in order to calm down all these peoples upset about their plane It was a the same and very constructive and passionate list made by you. However, Carenado is making too much plane and don't have time to address anything... But I'm quite happy to see all this list here this is a sort of a review and as usually their plane is full of bugs... I won't buy this one... Thank you for your help and your remark

It is coming from the VAS. That's normal. Try to delete your fsx.cfg and let FSX build it again. THere is one of your addon that is leaking memory and maybe your .cfg (you may have to install some addon in order to get them in fsx.cfg or add manually dll) Please try it. All the workaround will be in vain there is no way for FSX to use more than 3.2-3.4GB of RAM even with Windows 7 64Bits FSX is a 32 bits application and the 737 from PMDG is using almost 700-900MB but it is not eating all your VAS... Something is bad with your config. I had the same problem I got rid of it by install a new a french FSX in another DISK which is not use by WINDOWS I also added step by step my addon ... not all in the same time. Watch out for the BIG BIG SCENERIES (photosceneries they are eating memory too) Get rid of the traffic road put 0%... You don't care about traffic unless you want to make VFR Put maximum 20% of aircraft traffic using MyTraffic Put maximum 50% with defaut Ai For my part, MyTrafficX need more ressource than UT2. Hy guys, I just wanted to share something with you. I was fighting hard against a PMDG_737.DLL crash and I discovered after many days that as soon as I put disablepreload on fsx.cfg, FSX crash when I load a fly using PMDG 737. I don't know if I'm the only one to have this problem but, just in case you have that crash, try this fix, it could work as it worked for me... BTW I Have a CD version SP1c included in install Best

I'm using it to play 3 monitors. I'm able to get 30fps with two SLI card surround mode however I get only 17fps if I only use one card and a TripleHead2GO.

Hello guys I think I will need some help. I don't know what is happening but I'm stucked at 15fps no more and no less ... ROCK and SMOOTH 15 FPS even if I remove everything 15FPS. it is like FSX is taking the hand on the FPS and I cannot change anything... strange. I have deleted fsx.cfg. Tried everything.... Here is my SLI config, I used one from someone who has SLI working... don't know why mine doen't I was having 30fps Locked and Smooth but as soon as I put the second card it drops directly to 15fps (no more no less)... It seems that I have fixed it (so for your information) I Desactivate SLI - re-start - use Windowed VSYNC FIX (without it no FPS Gain, thx for the fix it works!)- used two monitor and by magic the FPS went up to 30 fps then I put SLI again and it worked at 30 fps again ... Did not tried full screen yet ... but I will soon THAT IS REALLY REALLY STRANGE ! Spec: 2600k at 4.8Ghz 580 GTX SLI 8Gb RAM Win 7 64bits Thank you for your support.

Le Buffer Pools n'a rien à voir avec le manque de mémoire. FSX est limité à 3.4 GO de mémoire effective car c'est une soft 32Bits et donc même si vous faites tourner le soft sur Windows 64 bits et que vous avez 200 GO de RAM ça fera la même chose... Dès que FSX atteint les 3.4 GO crash avec le message de mémoire. Petit parenthèse: pkoi quand tu as mis BP=0 tu as arrêté d'avoir des OOM? Tout simplement quand on utilise BP=1 l'allocation de la mémoire VRAM de la carte vidéo par FSX demande à ton PC un peu de mémoire vive RAM... Tes settings sont trop élevés et tu as certainement de nombreux ADDON qui influent sur FSX et consomme de la mémoire Par ex: FS2CREW consomme 40Mo-80Mo FSPASSENGER consomme entre 60 et 100Mo GSX autour de 80 FSUIPC lui aussi consomme de la mêmoire BREF EN GROS Réduit 1/ AI (si tu as un addon style MYTRAFFIC X) ne dépasse pas 30% 2/ Réduit aussi le Traffic de voitures surtout si tu as Ultimate terrain 2/ Autogen sur Dense voire Normal si ça continue Si tu as REX, évite de mettre les textures en 4096. Tournes autour des 2048 (cela se passe dans fsx.cfg)

Thanks for the reply, I checked my font size and it was set on Default. WIN7 - 100% - Normal Size In fact I had to change from Voice Mode to Button mode. And I forgot that my panel.cfg was messed by FSPAX modifcations. So I reinstalled FS2CREW then SP1C in order to have a clean installation and a clean PANEL.CFG, I have chosen the Button mode aNd then I have done the FSPAX modification again. However the text disapeared I changed to the Voice Mode and the text came back...(made FSPAX change) ...strange

Hi Bryan, I'm sorry to ask you for some help but after I've tried almost everything... I don't know what it is happening but I'm stucked When I open FS2CREW Panels everything is working fine but there are no texts anywhere in Panels. I have to guess what I'm doing and what I'm choosing... And it is strange because I tried to run FS2CREW and it worked. FO doing all the flows, etc ... I re-installed last FS2CREW version then re-installed SP1C but still the same problem Thank you for your support

V2 is not dead. that's a good news. It's been a veryyyyyy long wait since your last thread in a forum. Just hope that this is not a simple "hello" and "adios". That this time you will manage somehow to release this long waited V2 I will be glad paying for an upgrade to V2. Even paying the full soft again if it can motivate to develop on this software. Wait and See.

You are right .... And they have not even managed to get a Gear Silence Button functionnal, I don't think they will be able to make a Windmilling start as the ATR does .... I will still away from this plane until they fix some many annoying stuff

hehe, it is true that it is not really well explained... I put 100 lbs of fuel in left tank and I've put 600 lbs on the right want. I start flying and wait for the left tank to be exhausted. When it was at 0, Both engines stopped and I trying a windmilling start using abnormal procedure as stated above in my post .... But nothing was happening.

Windmilling start is working on the Flight1 ATR ... I don't think it is coming from FSX I checked everywhere on Forums and it seems that the FUEL Panel is pure fake on the Carenado... It does not simulate anything on the Plane. ANd when there is one of the two pumps empty the plane stops... That's pretty impressive to see a 40$ plane without major feature like that ...I'm glad that I'm not bought it.

Hi guys, I wanted to know something. I have tried this Plane at my friends house and I'm quite impressed by this little piece of nice work. However there is some stuff that I need to know. I don't want to buy a non realistic plane and I noticed numerous non realistic thing. And the biggest one is this: I wanted to try a windmilling start in Air cause by an engine shut down (or a normal start in AIr) using realistic procedure. I put not enough fuel in the left tank and waited to see what was happening... The Fuel Panel was correctly configured. At 0 Fuel, the Engine L NO FUEL XFR illuminated, I shut down the Transfert pump as stated in real procedure... But the fuel does not seem to transfer as all my engine stopped ...ANd I was unable to start the engine again using real procedure Here was my procedure Air start (windmilling) Cabin temp: Off, Blower: Auto Radar: Standby or Off Windshield heat: Off Power lever: Idle Propeller: 2200 rpm Condition lever: Cut-off Fuel panel: Check Fuel firewall valve: Open Boost pump: On Transfer pump: On Crossfeed: Auto Generator (inop. engine): Off Airspeed: 140 kts minimum Altitude: Below 20 000 ft Auto-ignition switch: Arm Wait: 8 s Condition lever: Low idle Wait: ITT peaks Power, propeller: As required Generator: On Auto-ignition switch: Off Fuel control heat: On Electrical equipment: As required I don't know if it is a bug or maybe I'm not smart enough but this is not really fun to see.
