Gloriosky Zero!! It worked fine with stock FSX acft. What is the problem with PMDG then? Log is attached.

I have the FS9 version of the 737NG.You do not have the FMC keyboard intercept turned on, do you?

No, I don't. Keys work for other features within FSX, i.e. views, etc.

Now we're back to square 1! Just tried it again with stock AB321 and RC wouldn't key. Went back to Mooney and it wouldn't key again. Sending new log. Log #6 is for most recent try with Mooney where it did not work.

this thread is going is going to become useless, once all the responses are on one levelso you start fs, fs plane, fs panel, rc worksso you load the 3rd party plane (which others use, and have no issues), and rc doesn't workthen you load an fs plane, and rc fails. curious, did you shutdown fs, between the 3rd party plane, and switching to the ms plane? if not, that would be the next thing to test.load an fs plane, load rc, rc will workshutdown fs, start fs, load the 3rd party plane, start rc, rc will probably not workshutdown fsstart fs, load a ms plane, start rc, i bet rc works.it's the loading of the 3rd party plane, that does something. it's registering keys for itself, and doesn't let them go, when the plane is deselected. rc won't work with the plane, or any ms plane after the 3rd party plane. unless you restart fs, which clears all the key registrationsjd

Followed your instructions but still nothing. Except for the one time RC has not responded to key inputs. I have shutdown FS each time between attempts and even tried booting my computer between attempts and still nothing. As of now RC will not work with FS or 3rd party plane.Curious, the log that I sent you when it worked... did it show my keystrokes? Is that the only time?Would it possibly help to re-load RC?

just for grins, enable all the controllersjd

Tried it, JD... no change. BTW there are some new entries in the PMDG forum concerning RC that you might want to check out.

i know there are hundreds if not thousands of people who use pmdg and radar contact, so i have no doubt that they work together.the fact that it worked, once, albeit, says there is something unique about your setup. finding out what it is, is the task.i will ask my beta testers to jump in, i'll create a new thread, to help figure out what it is.i'd even go so far as say, install fsx into a new directory, install pmdg into that new directory, and see what rc does in a pristine environmentjd

Thanks, JD. I really appreciate your help. Great customer service. I have a feeling that when we discover the problem it's going to be something very simple and, probably on my part, stupid. Thanks again,
