  4. Welcome, LowflyerWhen I look at the "Interests" in your profile, it says Aviation, Racing, Computers.Well, all I can say is: You've come to the right place...BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH
  5. HiI use an old, old program called fsscreen.exe. Just press PrtSc and the picture is taken. To post pictures, you have to convert the pics to jpg, fsscreen only works in BMP.Beware though - I've seen references to a fsscreen virus. There is a utility here on AVSIM, SimPicShots which might also do the trick.BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH
  6. Argh, you guys beat me to it!I too had plans to try out the Harrier on these strips.Good job, you two!BRGDSSven
  7. Hi,Well, in order to get the most out of this route, you should consider getting the ORBX CRM scenery. It may not be free, but it is beautiful and it does contain all the hazardous airstrips, with hills and bumps and everything you need to wreck your aircraft!BRGDSSven
  8. Whew, finally made them all....I'm afraid the beautiful nature is littered with wreckage now...Seriously, some of these strips are really not bush flying, but more like a stunt show. There are videos on youtube of landings at Dewey Moore, otherwise I would have thought it impossible. And Mile High is a killer - literally!I thought the Porter would be the best choice, but it is not really nimble enough, so I also tried the Maule and the Cub. The CUB was OK, but as it is a bit slow, I tried again (and again, and....) with the Porter and finally made it.Thanks again, Jeff - this was so much fun!BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH
  9. Wedding????Whatdayamean??Surely the bride bride can see some things are far more important!:) /Sven

  11. WhooouuuuwTHIS IS FLYING!Thanks a lot, Jeff - this is more fun than I've had in a long time in FS... Pretty scary, too... :oJust did the 2 first legs in Pilatus Porter. This bird should be classsified as VTOL :)And I went and got the ORBX Scenery 2: (CRM andPNW in fact), this is really fantastic scenery, but is does makeit even more scary - I'm loving it!Thanks again, Jeff - great idea!BRGDSSven
  12. Yup. the server hosting the VPN thingy has already been aired a few times...But I've got some new versions of various software that needs to be tested too.BRGDSSven
  13. Hi Viper You shall be welcome, however this recruitment thread is for last years race.Normally the race is in week 8, so there is a way to go yet - but I have seenthe first voices talking about beginning practice. So keep your eyes on this forum and when training does begin and/or theRTWR 2012 Recruitment appears, be sure to sign up! If I remember correctly, we only have one other pilot on your side of the globe, and it is definitely a plus with pilots in as many time zones as possible. BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH
  14. Hi MikeThanks for the heads-up!This looks very ineresting...Maybe I ought to dust of a DC-3 or something.BRGDSSven
  15. For my own part, I would like to go there again. I had such a good time last time (not least thanks to Jeff, Mike & Alex),and Dulles is so convinient for me - even if the road is a few thousand miles longer than Jeff's :)Unfortunately, my swimmingpool has decided to kick the bucket, and it's going to cost a BUNDLE to have it torn down (or up!),so I'm not sure of my funds, come autumn. We'll see.../Sven
  16. Hi guysIs anyone from the team planning to go?BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH
  17. Gentlemen,Thanks for the invitation. However, as much as I would like to fly along in my Fokker DR-1, I saw this so late that I won't have time to get the port forwarding and stuff set up correctly - and I certainly don't want to cause problems for those already connected! So I have to decline with thanks :(BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH
  18. Congratulations to to Team Flightsim - well done! Was this a close race or what?!!!BrgdsSven Sorensen, EKCHTeam Avsim
  19. Just a couple of screenies :)The next to last one is a bit dark, but try to enlarge it :)And the last: "You'll never escape the wrath of the Read Baron - MUHAHAHAHAA"(Pity I didn't get to fly it - it's really well made!)/Sven
