Well, I ended up with a new Planatronics 380 with 3.5mm plugs, which is really want I wanted anyway, they just plug into my sound card and they sound great, so far I'm very happy with them. A lot lighter then my old ones and love the new stick type of mic.. so...if they last me a year and a half thats good enough.thanks anyways for $50 I think I got a good pair for that price.

LOL, I know it's odd.. but I've been choosing which planes to buy based on how I can use them in my virtual charter company... I guess I could still get this, I was looking it up on air charter guide and they rent for $800-900/hr where as the pc12 rents at 1345-1500/hr !So I guess I could use it as a lower cost alternative for my "customers" it does look very cool indeed. -
Honolulu International Airport
briansommers replied to Jeroen Doorman's topic in Aviation and Flight Sim Video Forum
great vid, but who made the airport? -
well if you DON'T have to have a jet, the PC12 works great from flight 1 seats 9 and can get into very small strips

odd nose down behavior
briansommers replied to briansommers's topic in CT210M Centurion II HD Series for FSX | P3D
ok, your pix look about the same for myself.. I have to say it really does "feel" different then the others, C185, C337, etc..I got it to do on demand air cargo as well as flightseeing and photography runs... with no wings struts, I think it will work great for that. -
is it true that you can't go faster than 172KIAS?if so what is the point of this plane? I can faster than that in my C210, B58 and C208yes, I know there is the advantage of crusing at FL's but... I'd rather just take my PC12..

odd nose down behavior
briansommers replied to briansommers's topic in CT210M Centurion II HD Series for FSX | P3D
I had sliders full to the right.. I find that it is easier to land when fully loaded and that nose down goes away a bit more.I come over the fence at 70kts and hold power to maintain that speed until I start to pull in the flare and at the same time I'm pulling into the flare I pull out power.. I have found it handles better with a bit more power, but not much and it also flairs very easy.. in other words I barely pull back for the flair and it comes up very fast.. -
odd nose down behavior
briansommers replied to briansommers's topic in CT210M Centurion II HD Series for FSX | P3D
well I'm embarressed.. I've been flightsimming since the mid 's ... I guess I've developed a somewhat big head about myself being able to "fly" if you know what I mean..I'm usually not stumped but to many things such as this...when you say realism full right.. do you mean even gyro drift as well or the general settings all the way over?I'm going to try that and see what happens. -
just curious how does this compare to the Nikon D60

odd green tint in snow.. any ideas?
briansommers replied to briansommers's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
mm.. I hate to lose the details.. I think I'll just live with it.. for now.. -
I notice that is rather wierd when landing.. full flaps and it is really heavy nose down..is this normal? I find I tend to smash it in hard or float forever..tips anyone?

https://picasaweb.google.com/105640941208743922096/FSXTintInDetailsI have tried it inside and outside of the plane, it is not the window tint.I'm not running any enb softwareno shadeI have run it with orbx on and off - no diffI am using AS2012 and GEX and UTX USA - but I have been for years and didn't notice this beforeanyone have this?

well I have two out of the three. The addicitive one - I thought was really really squirly and very difficult to fly,,.. am I a rw pilot? no.. so maybe this is very realistic, I don't know.the alabeo model, is twitchy and very fast but yet doable and flyable, it doesn't feel out of control like the addictive... which one is more realistic? I have no idea.but right now, I've been flying the alabeo model and I really love it, for looks and they way it flies, I really love it.. however, I can't get it to knife edge without losing altitude.. is this real or not?? again I have no idea... but I would def. recomend it for sure..
