Words I need to share with our Community

On behalf of QualityWings Simulations, we would like to say thank you for all that you've been involved with in this community. I do hope that you and your family can find some sort of peace during this time. Corey Ford
  2. I remember having a weird problem w/the speedbrakes. Use Shift + / to stow them. Of course, hitting that again will arm it, but using the actual arm feature resets whatever had gone awry. I found that if deploying speedbrakes using my mouse and not using the "/" key, i didn't have any problems.
  3. He won't give it a break man....lmaoThanks Demetris. That kit is nuts man. But I think I've kinda got the hang of it. The potential with that kit is amazing, but it is a little too much.
  4. >A thing I find funny is, people keep commenting on and are>making a fuss about the screenshot(s), though I'd think Corey>would much rather get feedback for his paints. ;)U got it. It's a hot topic for all the wrong reasons...lmao.Anyway, both are done. (Pic at top updated, so please refresh browsers if you don't see both American AND Continental) I MAY hold onto them for awhile I complete the rest of the Big 5 (Delta, Northwest and US Airways). Not sure i'm gonna do those though.
  5. Reposting cause this topic was deleted.Progress:For those who'd like to see the original quality, just remove the Avsim part from the above picture link so the link will read AAProgress.jpg
  6. Wow, are you kidding me man? This stems from the fact that I made the comment about the post being deleted? I only put that in the titles so maybe the 3 or 4 people that commented on the post since I had last read it would reply. I'm sorry if you felt like I was showing you up or something...but I really wasn't. And NO, at the time I posted, I DID NOT know about the file size rule (hard as that may be for you to believe). I only knew about the dimension rule. So no, I didn't "GET" the rules. I read what Ed said, and I saw what I did wrong. But as I kept scrolling down, I saw your reply that started with "Don't like the posting rules here". Whether I like or agree with your rules would be irrelevant to any discussion because they are YOUR rules. Didn't understand why you took that tone, but again - it really wasn't that serious of an issue to me. As I stated before, if I didn't like the rules here - then I just wouldn't post. It ain't the end of the world if I can't post here or any forum. I don't get much feedback in this particular forum anyways...lol. But I've always respected the members of this forum, so I like to keep them informed...should anyone be interested in seeing what I'm working on.
  7. Ahh mother of God...lol. Can someone just delete the post or just the pics from the reply in violation? I forgot about that rule. Too much stuff to remember man, I post in like 4-5 different forums. Guess that makes me a 2nd offender. Your move guys but it wasn't done intentionally.
  8. OK - lemme just say this real quick because this is draggin on. I was never one that made a big deal out of this anyway.I wasn't knocking anybody or any rules here. When I said I don't get the rules here, it meant I did't understand them or what I did wrong. Ed explained it and before I could even read this reply, Staggering made the whole "If you don't like rules" or whatever the comment was. That didn't mean I don't agree with them. If I didn't like or care for the rules here, I wouldn't post here. I just misunderstood the size limit. But it's not even that serious. I thought it was a dimension limit. Anyways, as I stated...No big deal...it really wasn't. Maybe this has been made a big deal by some other people and it kinda spilled over here. But I'm not the one complaining.
  9. Amazing. The most feedback I've ever gotten to a topic I posted here, and it has nothing to do with the "topic"...lol
  10. yea, i don't get the rules here. I link all my photos to photobucket, so I don't udnerstand why the file size (350kb was a problem). The resolutions were all good. No big deal, but what sucked is I had a couple of comments that I didn't get to view b4 he deleted 'em.

OK. Then in that case, sorry for you might be a slight inconvenience. But, the alternative is a nightmare from our perspective. And to keep things in persepctive....it's not like it happens everyday ;)

To the Avsim Library Managers,There are 9 different variations of the POSKY 747-100/200:B747-100 w/JT9DB747-100 w/JT9D3 (Eng with blow-in Doors) B747-100B w/JT9D (-100 without the small hump aft of the Upper Deck)B747-200 w/JT9DB747-200 w/CF6-50B747-200 w/RB211B747-200 w/JT9D & -400 style fairingB747-200 w/CF6-50 & -400 style fairingB747-200 w/RB211 & -400 style fairingIt is to my understanding that Original Aircraft means that the upload includes everything the user needs to get up and running. It includes the model, manuals, textures, etc. Aircraft repaints and textures would just include textures. Sure, I could upload textures only and include a COMPLICATED set of instructions for the user to mix and match models.BTW - Are you the same individual who sent the e-mail when I released the Next gens some time ago?

    B757 Aircraft Systems Errors

Hi,First off, I appreciate the effort put forth by PSS on this project. My question is whether this 757 is supposed to be as detailed as let's say the Level-D 767 with respect to the systems. I'm a systems guy. I like the plane to behave as much as possible to it's counterpart in real-life. The systems that are programmed in the Level-D are right on.I took a "test drive" of the 757 and found several errors. I hate to call them errors, so let's call them some of the things common to the 757 that were left out. - APU Run light does not flash twice to indicate prestart BITE. - APU EGT rise unrealistic during APU startup. - No duct pressure drop when packs turned on, etc - Trim Air Off light as well as Fltdk/Fwd/Aft Trim Air zone lights illuminate when pneumatics turned off. This is an error - No Level B Aural warnings when Left sys hydraulics lost. Works fine for Center and Right. R u guys trying to model in the PTU, because I do notice 1250 psi on the Left Hydraulics in this scenario. - The flaps did not extend without hydraulics, which I was happy about. But the Leading Edge/Trailing Edge lights on the center panel did not illuminate for the handle disagree - No EICAS messages for L&R Recirc Fans. The Emergency lights EICAS is programnmed. Just wodnering if these were missed. - I get Level B aurals on startup and shutdown. Unrealistic and annoying - During startup, N3 timing with relation to N2 unrealsitic. They do not turn almost simultaneously. If this package wasn't meant to be as detailed as Level-D (systems-wise), then disregard. But please let me know.Corey
