Captain Sim 777?!
I'm gonna go against conventional wisdom and comment on this. It's taboo for developers to comment against other developers, but I am (was) a customer of their product...so I will comment as such.It seems to be their thing to hurry releases of exterior models when a competitor has the same model up their sleeve. Back in the day, Captain Sim was planning to do a 767 before Level-D released their classic product. Once Level-D released their 767 and it was apparent that nobody on the planet was going to out do it, CS shifted focus (and dropped the 767-400 as well) onto the 757...which at the time Level-D announced. Side note: I just released how long the community has been waiting for the LDS 757 as I'm typing this lol.Anyways, CS released the 757 in this same exterior model firstmanner, in an attempt to lure in some customers, and promised them Full systems programming later in that same year. For those of you who remember this whole fiasco, you know just how long it took for that to actually happen.Choose carefully, and know what your are buying before you buy ;-)

Virtuali - A Rant
Umberto,I just caught this drama very late. And after trying to read through everything, I would like to pubicly commend you for the way you handled yourself. That was alot of typing man! Well done with your open, honest and very thorough explanations!Tom,Just to touch on a point you made, again there appears to be some confusion with our (QualityWings) support system.I didn't task you to register on our forums just so you could sift through topics to find an answer.I simply stated that requests for Tech Support via the contact form wasn't the way to obtain support for our products (as it states on the contact form page). My exact words was:Our Support system requires that you are a member on our forums, and within 8-24 hours (often times sooner) you have access to a restricted area. The Licensed area insures that true paying customers receive proper support and can ask about and research problems. Of the 9 Development Team members, 6 of us routinely monitor the forums throughout the day and if we are not available, our Beta testers often attempt to get you going. In many cases, the QualityWings community also offers support.

New forum users are under this restriction. Posts arent screened for content necessarily...even though Support requests which are OFTEN put in the incorrect forum maybe redirected.Once a user becomes registerd, the restriction is lifted.

I never really thought of it like this (valid concern on your end), but it's definitely not intended to be censorship.A couple of months back, we had a rash of spam, so I setup the forum to require newer users to have their posts approved prior to display. But definitely not intended to censor your questions.

Ummmm...Darryl, you ok?I just read my post again a couple of times and I still fail to see where I attacked you. I apologize if it came across as an attack but trust me, you'd know if I was on the offensive lol.BUTMost of us are members on several different forums. I have paid attention to your posts and inquiries for the longest. You do seem unbelievably skeptical about the product despite the amount of information available to you.The 3 questions you asked were answered on our forums, which you were previously a member on but appears are inactive now. As a matter of fact I even made a video for YOU today that had to be deleted off Youtube because the sound wasn't in sync. My quote still stands buddy for better or worse:If you've got to think THIS much about making the purchase sir, it just might not be for you. That's not an insult or an attack Darryl, but just an observation. I say it again: C'mon Darryl lolWhen we released, we received a barrage of negative comments from people who expected so much more. People screamed bloody murder because we weren't at "Level-D or PMDG" level of systems simulation. I mean God forbid you release a product that's a little different than those 2 developers (Disclaimer: 2 of my favorite developers...so no beef with them). So even though we told everyone what to expect from the VERY BEGINNING, we went back at it and tried to improve on different areas to match what people seemed to want without totally shifting our gameplan. Still thereafter, people complained lol. So forgive me if I've become a little bit indifferent to the questions about where we are with regards to PMDG or anybody else. We've already told everyone. We've showed everyone. We put it in writing. People have spoken about it. Now YOU figure it out. Of course we want your business and we've given you all the tools to make an informed decision. But a year later, what is there left to say or show?Oh and by the way, I've been VERY careful with my words. I NEVER promised there would be more QWHDT liveries.

C'mon now Darryl lolWhat hasn't been said about this bird already that you don't know about. - We answer just about every question thrown at us on the QW site....which btw is a better place to get an answer from a QW developer. - We preview the heck outta everything. - We told everybody which 3 liveries would be included in QWHDT on the forums - We have a copy of the manual available for those who are considering purchase. (allows you to answer question 3 on your own) - There are enough opinions (positive and negative) about us on just about all the major sites...to write a book. - We made the FSX Native models which was your last sticking point. If you've got to think THIS much about making the purchase sir, it just might not be for you :(

qualitywings sp2 is out.
Not entirely correct Emil IF he is talking about the VC. But the manual has always mentioned the Retro EFIS VC limitation.

787 Dreamliner coming!
You've got the idea Jeff. We've got some exciting new ideas. We'll see where it takes us :( Some will like it, some won't. Just the nature of the beast lol

787 Dreamliner coming!
We're not training tomorrows pilots sir lol.We are in the business of trying to create a entertaining product that will look, feel, sound and most importantly act just like the real thing within our design scope. We have an abundance of information about the 787 series now, and also more coming that will enable us to do so. And just like the real airplane (and all airplanes), things evolve over time.

Speed Brake Armed on 737-700 PMDG
I remember having a weird problem w/the speedbrakes. Use Shift + / to stow them. Of course, hitting that again will arm it, but using the actual arm feature resets whatever had gone awry. I found that if deploying speedbrakes using my mouse and not using the "/" key, i didn't have any problems.

He won't give it a break man....lmaoThanks Demetris. That kit is nuts man. But I think I've kinda got the hang of it. The potential with that kit is amazing, but it is a little too much.
