I agree, the author has a problem with nVIDIA and nVIDIA fans. In any case, the article is just idle speculation; he admits as much at the beginning of the article. Hard to do the math without the numbers and nVIDIA and ATI are sitting on those.When a DX11 game comes along I want to play, I will stop by at www.tomshardware.com, read the reviews and make a decision. I am no partisan, I have used both ATI and nVIDIA cards in the past and will base my decision on real world performance and driver stability.Tom

I agree with you Bob, I do not like the dome light on in my car when driving, or in my simulated aircraft when flying, at night.Referring to your original post, I don't think it is a technical issue with FSX as other developers like EagleSoft don't seem to have a problem separating the VC lighting functions.I think having realistic cockpit lighting adds to the immersion when flying at night, and in the future, I will only purchase products that provide this feature.Tom
