  1. Also check the connections to the parking spots. If missing the plane cannot leave and will disappear.Alternatively, it might be so very crowded with planes leaving that ATC cannot give them their clearance in time. After approx. 10 - 15 min. they will disappear as AI will have to meet a deadline at the arrival airport.Menno
  2. Sometimes it helps to read the manual. Despite the fact that it's a Wilco product, they must have provided this at least.Menno
  3. Chuck, I agree with you that RC is a very good program. Still, I haven't been using it for a while.Reason? RC reads the callsign 'City' as 'City Ireland'. 'City' is used by KLM City Hoppers and as I use to fly out of Amsterdam there are usually quite a lot of movements by these planes. However RC uses the callsigh 'City Ireland', which is used by a French company operating between France and Ireland. I have informed JD of this and he told me it will be fixed in a new release, but I find it annoying it cannot be fixed with a software update in the meantime. So, yes, in general I agree with, but I would like to see more updates in the meantime to add and correct callsigns.Menno
  4. Hi Chris, which was the last scenery pack you installed? Menno
  5. Hi Dick, sorry to see you are having the same problems. What helped was re-installing the water related texures. For that I used Perfect Water (perfwat.zip by Davide Scotti) available in the library here. Hope it helps you too!Menno
  6. For those interested, my problems were solved after I installed alternative water related files.
  7. Thanks Andy, it will safe some time indeed......Menno
  8. Hi, I am a fan of Brian Neitzel's work so I didn't hesitate to install his final version. I know, I am also using Ground Environment Pro and ASV 6.5 so my textures should be ok, but these guys seem to have forgotten the old FS9 users, and one likes to see some changes sometimes....But, after I replaced the textures and feeling sure that shouldn't I like them I would use said programs to reinstall my previous versions, I got a fatal error during start up of FS9. It starts, lets me select aircraft and airport and then when installing that it stops and I get the 'send an error report to MS' screen. I have reinstalled GE Pro, ASV and the Ultimate Terrain programs but to no avail. I still get the same fatal error, even when starting form different airports. I am puzzled, all this just because I changed some textures.Anybody got a clue as what to do before I feel pushed to reinstall FS9?Thanks,Menno
  9. If the earlier answers didn't solve it, you might need to pay attention to which AI aircraft has copied taxi clearance and which didn't before enterung the runway. At crowded airports some aircraft start taxiing after getting their taxi clearance but due to the heavy radio traffic they don't get a chance to copy that (MS allows for AI to start taxiing without copying first). It even gets harder when Control is also making aircraft wait for others. There is no way they will get through. When entering the runway, they do not ask for TO clearance since they still have to copy taxi clearance. MS does not make sure that who got on the radio first, gets an answer first. So by the time they gave reached the runway they are way down the list. Only a long silence on the radio, will get them to copy and ask for TO clearance. There is no real solution. try to make your traffic flow on the airfield as smooth as possible. But other than that, you cannot prevent, I think.Hope it helps!Menno
  10. Correct me if I am wrong, but I recall FT stating that when the Vol. 2 would be released there would be another SP for the Vol. 1. Especially the FMGC still needs improvement. The first remarks I read here about the FMGC in Vol. 2 does not give me the expected positive feeling that it will finally be fulfilling its claims, but nevertheless I hope Wilco/FT can indicate when I can expect the SP.Thanks,Menno
  11. All I remember from the forum is Eric replying "It doesnot happen on my machine", until someone could finally pinpoint him what the problem was reveiling Eric only tested it following normal procedures.Still the FMC is not functioning. Maybe with the Volume 2 coming out, we get the long awaited service pack to fix this. But for me it is no more FeelThere. No more Wilco.Menno
  12. Has anyone noticed that with the new AIRAC the terminal procedures are incomplete as well? At least EHAM and EBBR are missing.Menno
  13. It was obvious from the start that Wilco rushed the release of the product. Never did feelThere or Wilco acknowledge that their advertising had been misleading as the product never fulfilled all the claims they made. After several service packs it still doesn't. Now all is aimed at the release of their Volume 2 (A330, A340 series). Still with the same omissions, flaws etc. I am sure. FeelThere/Wilco have left their customers out in the cold. And by shutting the forum they just emphasized that. For me it is clear. No more of either one of them. But unfortunately there will always be new people, not being aware of their attitude and poor standards who will purchase their products, believing the claims made.Flying Dutchman
  14. JD, I sent you the log file yesterday already, but apparently it cannot be delivered. Please check your e-mail (jd at jdtllc dot com) to see if it is there.Menno
  15. After I had installed RC (great program!) I noticed I had a lot of planes using 'City Ireland' as their call sign. I quickly learned these were KLM Cityhoppers normally using 'City' as their call sign. I take it RC uses the first letters to see which callsign to use, but in this case, it ends up using the wrong one for ai traffic. How can I adjust this so 'City' is used for KLM Cityhopper aircraft? Thanks,Menno
  16. Hi Jim,Thank you for your reply.Yes, that is what I am saying. At least if I had memory problems I never noticed them before and I am a fan of long haul flights too.No one particular airport although all system srashes occured while flying in Europe. I shall try to find more symptoms that might be helpful to solve this.Thank you,Menno
  17. I wasn't aware of any memory problems until I read that the new update solved them. It hadn't bothered me during long flights in the past. But now that I have installed the latest update, my system seems indeed to have memory problems resulting in a crash mostly during the last 10 - 15 miles to the runway. This is especially the case when there is a lot of cloud coverage. It starts ok, without any stutter and than during the flight this becomes worse resulting in the system crash.I never had these problems with ASV and I hope these symptoms give you a clue what might be the problem.A happy user!Menno
