Dear All, I hope you are well. First and foremost, thank you everyone for all the efforts, but especially to the developer, as this is an absolute MUST tool for me for over a year now. I have just updated my system to a 9590X3D with a 5090. Any recommended settings? I have a 120Hz LG Screen, with FPS within MSFS2024 limited to 117. I used FG 3x, and TAA. Any help in setting things up would be appreciated! I have been running it in Auto until now, but have found sometimes it struggles to adapt to the different situations. Thanks!

Hi guys, my P3D is quite stock. Only added FFTF 0.01 and a TEXT_BAND_MULT=120. Ht is HyperThreading and you disable it on the BIOS. AM is Affinity Mask. My OC is on liquid cooling... only way I could achieve it was with no HT as the HT significantly increases the heat. Been running this setup since october, and works flawlessly... I upgraded the 980ti for a 1080 and wouldn't go back to be honest. My 1080 is OCed as well using AfterBurner. Settings are as per Rob's website Very High for P3dV3.2 Gio

Good morning everyone, just a quick heads up... last week, I was experiencing some really good performance with my new 4K setup, but every few seconds I was getting some stutters or long frames. It seems like 2 things might have sorted the issue: 1) Updating the Nvidia Drivers of my 1080GTX to the latest ones from July 6th (368.69). 2) In NVI, I set for p3d PreRenderedFrames=1 I don't know if it is a combination of both things, or just one of them, but I have noticed a dramatical increase in my smoothness and performance. Running a 6700K OC @4.9, P3d on SSD, 1080GTX, 4K Monitor with GSYNC Active, No AM, HT OFF. Solid 60FPS all maxed out on PMDG737 out of LFMN from JustSim, AS ON, usual FTX Vector and Global with REX. Hope it helps you guys.

Guys... this is incredible... I obviously had deactivated Aero for some reason, by following NickN tuning guide when I first set up the computer. Basically, my desktop theme and most of the visual effects were deactivated. Having said that, by restoring the default windows 7 theme, making sure the transparency was on, and running the sim again, BAAAAAAAM! No tearing what so ever. I knew something was UP! Oh and by the way, my PFPX was not closing properly anymore, freezing my desktop most of the time, and that is sorted too! Thanks again guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys I'm still struggling very much with this... it's mainly when the camera goes Up and Down. I never experienced this before, and I find it very surprising as the GSYNC should be doing it's job with the system I have and the FPS I'm getting. It's actually very annoying! Could FFTF Tweak have something to do? It's basically the texture loading... the sim is smooth as silk, but the textures distort when panning around, especially up and down. Any suggestion or idea would be very much appreciated!

What do you mean by matching the Gsync? Just did the FPS limiting... Let's see

Hi Rick, my monitor is 60Hz. :( Can't go any further. My previous monitor was 144hz, gsync but smaller. What do you recommend?

I tried creating a custom resolution on NCP, but I can't get it to work. When I press test it all goes black until I press ESC. Gio

Good Morning guys, so finally made the jump to 4k, with the purchase of a 1080GTX that so far, with a little bit of OC on liquid, is running really well! So, generally, thanks to the 6700k and the new GPU, both on liquid and OCd, the sim is running over 70fps, 4k with 2xSamples on the AA. This is 777 out of FRA with ASky and the usual Global+Vector+REX Clouds. Now, I have a 4K GSYNC Monitor, 28" 60Hz, and I am struggling with the screen tearing, as it shouldn't appear and yet it's quite obvious and severe. Any idea on how to improve this? Thanks guys! I will install a second 980ti in SLI and I think that it should be good considering I'm gonna go on a 28" monitor 4k. Does that sound good? I was thinking of putting two 1080, but so far, people have been reporting the 980 is just as good with p3d. and mine is Overclocked on liquid cooling. Thanks for the feedback guys! While I'm at it... any specific settings for the SLI?

Good Evening all, I currently have quite a powerful set up that is running my p3d v3.2 smoothly... but I wanted to switch to a bigger screen from my 24" GSYNC, going to a 27" 4K GSYNC. Considering that I will not be running SGSS anymore in 4k, and my current setup (6700K OC and 980Ti OC), will I see a major drop in performance? Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Guys! I tried to research a bit on the REX support forum but I got completely lost with the hotfixes and different updates and integrations. I bought REX TD4 a long time ago, when it was released, and then Soft Clouds, when it was released. I would now like to uninstall it and reinstall it all over again to make sure I have the latest versions and start from scratch. Having said that, maybe you guys can help and we can keep this post here for future reference? 1) How do you uninstall REX correctly? 2) What files do I download from FlightSimStore? I can't find an installer with both TD and Soft Clouds Integrated. 3) What versions/build do I install? Thanks a lot for your kind help and time guys... I know this has been going on for a while now.

Tim any chance you could share a screenshot of your REX settings and your P3D settings? I can't get this kind of water.. in fact, my water looks quite nice in the near distance, but the far distance is like blurried.

Good Morning all! I currently have a 6700k OCd at 4.9 and a 980ti running on a 27" GSync Monitor. Performance has been really good, and so far, no real complaints. I still hear people talking about the DSR and how well it performs on P3D, and I was wondering if someone could recommend me any settings to try it out? I assume that once the resolution is set to 4k, you don't run any AA anymore? I would appreciate some tips on how to set up NVI and P3D for it! Thanks a lot! Gio
