  2. Just checked an OLD .pln file - created with fsroute.com long time ago (now apparently down . . .?) and works just fine !Tried the new .pln file with ASv6.5 just perfectwith ASX no waypoints after NAT tracks!
  3. Since a couple of days I experience the following problem: ( only for NAT routes !!)Creating a .pln file with simroutes - see attachment - ALL waypoints incl. !BUTASX will not show the waypoints AFTER MALOT !!Any ideas ?
  4. Just a short remark as a "Berliner" - TXL-EDDT IS in Berlin! Not outside of Berlin to the North . . .SXF-EDDB Schoenefeld is outside of Berlin - in the federal state BRANDENBURG.

I try again - most probably they were to large. . .Flight planning chartFuel calculationFlight plan used during flight for flight followingand now the final results all the red figures are actual readings during flight. Really interesting are the FMC readings at the far right for ETA and fuel remaining - they are constantly changing during flight despite the fact that nothing really drastical changes. Reason for this is the calculation of the FMC for the last sector of flight between OM and touch-down - the fuel figure is MUCH too high - between 2500 and 3000 lbs of fuel for the last 2 minutes or so . . .As you can see the winds were OK ( only one sector with completely wrong winds !!) - using ASX.The final fuel burn was 282.3 L - calc was 283.4 L , which is not bad, but I had already better results. . .

After nearly 5 years experience with the PMDG 737 I have another first -on my last two flights into KRNO and KBOI the ILS will not tune - first I thought that the freq is not correct in the database, but at leastin BOI the freq was correct.Any ideas what I am doing wrong - since more than 200 approaches with ILS tuning - now this . . .Apparently I switched off/on (?) something . . .Any help appreciated - don't be angry with me if I don't answer - I am out of town next week . . .

HI,just trying to prepare a flight from KSFO to EGLL - noticed the following :Dep WX at KSFO is appearing as ADVANCED INTERPOLATION - with wind at 22500kt and vis 25 3/4SM and the forecast is from KNFG ??Going to dest EGLL :First EGLL is showing the wx from LFOE and fcst from EDHIthenDestination (EGLL) also ADVANCED INTERPOLATION with ZERO wind and QNH 1006 real wxEGLL 040450Z 27009KT CAVOK 12/09 Q1003 and fcst is also EDHII noticed this for several days already but never that heavy . . .
  14. Hi,the question was : " MD11 and TOPCAT " - no doubt TOPCAT is a great tool for the BOEING family, but . . .Since the performance data for the MD11 ( an adopted part of the BOEING family . . ) are handled as TOPSECRET, is the new version incl. MD11as good as for the other aircraft ?
  15. Hi ,another first :After two take-offs with the RR 747 ( others I cannot tell so far ) I had the followingNormal T/O preps - line up, thrust to T/O power and . . . klick on TOGA screw . . .TAKE-OFF SPEEDS DELETEDAny ideas ?p.s. I feel I have to reinstall . . . too many hick-ups!

  17. Thanks Dan and Gerry,double-klick did not solve the problem . . .Just performed the same T/O ( same weight etc ) with the 744F - no problems at all - I fear the 744pax code is corrupt and I have to reinstall.Will do further tests

Hi, after 100+ flights with the 747 on FSX I had another first. . .initial alt selected before T/O was in both cases 6000ft - normal T/O LNAV/VNAV engagedAfter receiving clearance to FL180, tried to enter the alt in MCP ( as before 100 times . . .) the VNAV mode disengaged and V/S mode came up .A/T was still engaged but moving the hand throttle it changed the thrust.The speed indication on the PFD disappeared.Unable to reengage the VNAV mode.Any ideas or explanations ?Thanks
  19. The LH-Cargo MD11F have 2 seats in the compartement right behind the cockpit - they are business-class like . . .These two seats can be extended to a real bed for crew rest.

Hi,before reading Ryan's info, I changed the following FSUIPC settingswind sectionchange of rate to 8 secondssurpressing all 3 - turb gusts and variance - actually you "feel" and see still some movements of the airplane . . .DWC ON in ASAso far 2 flights WITHOUT any problems with the MD11 - before I had severe problems which were only to overcome by disabling DWC - but then the winds disappear . . .
  22. 1. You can't enter FL331 or FL367 in the MD11 for 10100m or 11100m like in the 7472. the INIT page would not accept 330/10100/11100/370/390 but it has accepted 330/331/367/370/390

Hi, I planned a trip from EKCH to VTBSSoon after passing the Baltic Sea I was to enter the russian airspace where the levels are in METER - iinitial FL was 330 and thenit should be 10100m or FL331 ( as to be entered in the 747 )The FMC accepted 330/331/367/370/390 for the route.I changed in the MD11 to METER indication and entered 10100mThe airplanne started to climb to 10100 but stopped at 10058 m and on the PFD a blue indication came up with 10090mAlso it showed "PROF to 10100""HOLD 10058m"The a/c was ready for FL331 but did not climb all the way up to 10100mI started to climb with V/S to 10100m - but the the planned altitudes in FMC disappeared and could not be entered again . . . Any ideas ?

After having flown since more than a half year the MD11 only ( with heavy problems with DWC ) , I tried the 747 again with ASA.I went from EDDT to KLAX and - big surprise - started at FL 320, later FL 340 and FL360 with NO PROBLEMS whatsoever !!I tried even the acceleration 2x, 4x and even 8x - with NO PROBLEMS !!As soon I step-climbed to FL 380 the problems started - heavy s-turns and I was forced to disable DWC - next problem started: as soon DWC was disabled the winds aloft disappeared as well - this happens also with the MD - in less populated areas ( I was over northern Canada ) and over water you need DWC to get wind information ! As soon I reached the US the winds came back after enabling DWC again and later I had to disable again ! Continued to the descent into LAX with DWC OFF and switched it on for the DSC - again no problems after passing FL350 !Paul, could you please explain what you mean by QTE1. when i minimised ASA on the Vista Laptop(( ??? ) to the system tray, i was getting a lot of millisecond 180 degree wind shifts.2. When i minimised ASA normally ( ??? ) then the wind shifts stop happening...UNQTE
