Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this issue? While I'm "sitting" on the ramp with the engines off, I can pan in any direction I need to; either in virtual cockpit or 2D modes. However, after engine start in any aircraft, whenever I try to pan left or right the view tries to snap back to center like I'm shaking my virtual head. I can pan up and down just fine, but the issue is left or right. I've tried adding a pan command in the FS9.cfg but it's not working for me. Help?!?

I tried changing my email address (currently listed as [email protected]), to which I no longer have access, to an older email address that I've been able to regain use of (******@comcast.net). It would seem it would take an admin to manually change the database record (I know there must be a ton of them). Are there any hints or tips anyone might be able to share? I've already tried logging in under the comcast account only to find it doesn't work, even after going through the process of getting the password reset. When I tried just changing my email address I get an error message telling me that the comcast address is already in use. If an admin is able to PM me, I'd be happy to give them the email address I'd like my account changed to. Thanks in advance.

Good news! :( I was finally able to install the MD-11. Here's the fix. Go to your FS9 root folder and look for the FS9.1 update uninstaller. Run that program and then re-install the FS9.1 update. This should update your FS9.exe file and allow the MD-11 installer to run.

No. I'm using a licensed copy of the software running it from the cd. No cracked version is being used. Still getting the same error message.P.S. Sorry for not signing my posts. I'll set up a sig file. :)

I know this has been covered before, but I'm having the same issues. The only difference with me is that I've actually run the Flight1 registry checker and still have no luck. When I try installing the MD-11, I get:"FS9 Version 9.1.0.40901 (FS9.1 at least)required. You only have FS9 Version 9.0.0.30612 installed. Please install FS9.1 or later to use this product." The trick is that I've already installed the 9.1 update. When I try installing the update again, I get a message that it's already installed. I would really like to not have to uninstall FS9 and re-install everything again, due to the amount of scenery and aircraft I have for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

After recently purchasing the ATR edition and backing-up the original guage file, I'm unable to load the ATR using the proper loading procedure. Mike,You'll be absolutely fine. I'm running FS9 on an AMD Athlon64 3700+ @ 2.2GHz with 2G memory viewed with an ATI Radeon X1600 Pro. I have no problems running FS9, the Queen, FS2Crew, Active Sky, FS Flight Tracker and Serv Info. Sure, my CPU usage is usually pegged at about 98% with everything I run. But I still get around 20 - 30 fps, depending upon scenery.By all means, do look into FS2Crew. It adds a whole new demention of realism and reduces your work load. :)

Mike,Congratulations on the impending arrival. I know I speak for everyone else here when I say that you'll be thoroughly pleased. A word of advice: take the PMDG 744 Certification course and seriously look into getting FS2Crew for her, too. Now, on to your question.This has been asked before and, I believe, the answer was that you'd have to run the available updates after installation/re-installation. This means that you'll have to download and run the new update when it becomes available if it's after she's arrived to your hangar.

Capt. Robert,Thanks for the personal reply. I was able to find and sucessfully use the original installer. :) Now, any ideas as to how far away we are to release date? I know you were waiting for someone to get back to town. I'm curious. Are they back yet? :D

I have a question. It would seem that I need to re-install the Queen, however the extended download service wasn't an option for me oh so long ago. Will the updates that are forthcoming be rolled into the installer or will I have to download it from the PMDG website?

Getting an account with Navigraph has been a highly invaluable resource for me. Plus, for terminal procedures that aren't covered by the new AIRAC cycles, check out Terry Yingling's http://www.planepath.comNote: some of the terminal proceedures on PlanePath will revert to an older, out of date AIRAC so be carefull. I use it for my LDS763 and FT EMB145.

Is there a place where I can get correct SID/STAR info for FS2Crew for the U.S. airports I fly out of? Also, is there a way to change the flight number FS2Crew uses? Example, (I know this idea has been suggested for the airline before) I'm flying AAL64 from KJFK to LZSH (Zurich, Switzerland). Yet, the voice sets still use Jetset 266 and the paperwork generated by the program doesn't have LZSH as the arrival point.

After reading Ryan's response the first thing that popped into my head was; "Everything is possible. However, everything is not always probable." In short, give up on the idea of any kind of C172. There's probably not much of a demand for it which would explain why only one developer out of all that are out there has actually tackled the project.I agree with the rest of the group, though. The biz jet and bush a/c have been neglected far too long. :)
