I have a paint design for the RV-10 I'm building irl and would like to have it painted in MSFS 2020 for the RV-10 that is available from Orbx. Is anyone willing to help a brother out?

Here's an issue I have with the voice control... it rarely works for me when I'm in the sim. My computer's voice recognition is trained to recognize my voice. However, I think the problem is the extra sounds from the engines and other simulated cockpit fans in the sim and my computer microphone is picking up those sounds. When I have other windows open, such as vPilot, and have that window selected no sound from the sim is active through my computer speakers. It is at that point that the speech recognition accuracy gets significantly better and FS2Crew works as designed. Does anyone have any suggestions that will help?

I tried using Voice Commands for the first time in a couple years tonight and it would not let me run the descent checklist. Whenever I would call for it, the speech recognition would think I'm saying "off schedule descent checklist" and do nothing, regardless of if my diction was clear or not.

You are correct that I'm wanting to use what I've purchased. The P3D came into the mix from my oversight of mentioning originally which platform I'm flying it on. My OP was edited to reflect which platform. In my original post, I did mention and quote the reply from PMDG support.

The installer is still in my orders list and I can still download the file. However, without a way to activate my product the file is useless. 😢

Life gets in the way sometimes. I'm sure many people can understand this when it comes to our hobby passion for flying. Such is the case with me. I had purchased the PMDG MD-11 when it was first released. I was even one of the voices for FS2Crew's add-on for the aircraft. Sadly, I never took the time to dive into this beautiful example of aviation history. Now that I'm getting to the point in my life where I have more time to get back in the virtual skies, I would love to be able to use what I purchased. Unfortunately, I see it is no longer offered on the website and I understand that it doesn't make business sense to keep a product on the shelves if there's no demand for it. However, let's keep the legacy products going and support those who still have them in their order history. I had reached out to PMDG support in mid-August about the "License Not Found" issue and was informed by Chris Makris that "The MD11 activator is currently not working, We are aware of this and investigating but any solution will not be provided before the release of the 747-8 I am afraid." Well, it seems that the Queen's upgrade to the -8 has been completed. Should I have hopes of being able to fly the MD-11 in FSX?

Where is the file located so I can make the shortcut (and install liveries)? I'm running FSX:SE. Disregard. I found my answer in another thread.

I may not be able to participate in the flight. However, I do have video editing capabilities. I'd love to help out in that regard.

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this issue? While I'm "sitting" on the ramp with the engines off, I can pan in any direction I need to; either in virtual cockpit or 2D modes. However, after engine start in any aircraft, whenever I try to pan left or right the view tries to snap back to center like I'm shaking my virtual head. I can pan up and down just fine, but the issue is left or right. I've tried adding a pan command in the FS9.cfg but it's not working for me. Help?!?

I tried changing my email address (currently listed as rjornd@netcommander.com), to which I no longer have access, to an older email address that I've been able to regain use of (******@comcast.net). It would seem it would take an admin to manually change the database record (I know there must be a ton of them). Are there any hints or tips anyone might be able to share? I've already tried logging in under the comcast account only to find it doesn't work, even after going through the process of getting the password reset. When I tried just changing my email address I get an error message telling me that the comcast address is already in use. If an admin is able to PM me, I'd be happy to give them the email address I'd like my account changed to. Thanks in advance.

Good news! :( I was finally able to install the MD-11. Here's the fix. Go to your FS9 root folder and look for the FS9.1 update uninstaller. Run that program and then re-install the FS9.1 update. This should update your FS9.exe file and allow the MD-11 installer to run.

No. I'm using a licensed copy of the software running it from the cd. No cracked version is being used. Still getting the same error message.P.S. Sorry for not signing my posts. I'll set up a sig file. :)

I know this has been covered before, but I'm having the same issues. The only difference with me is that I've actually run the Flight1 registry checker and still have no luck. When I try installing the MD-11, I get:"FS9 Version 9.1.0.40901 (FS9.1 at least)required. You only have FS9 Version 9.0.0.30612 installed. Please install FS9.1 or later to use this product." The trick is that I've already installed the 9.1 update. When I try installing the update again, I get a message that it's already installed. I would really like to not have to uninstall FS9 and re-install everything again, due to the amount of scenery and aircraft I have for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yours isn't the only one. My wife-to-be thinks the same of me, too. But then, again, I build my own computers.

After recently purchasing the ATR edition and backing-up the original guage file, I'm unable to load the ATR using the proper loading procedure. I've taken the liberty of copying the fault report that FS9 gave. I'm looking forward to purchasing this one. I've enjoyed a phone conversation last year with the guy that produces the videos and runs the company. I know this project has been a long time in the making. What a lot of you have in your hands is acutally the 2nd incarnation of the project. Most of the first incarnation was lost in a hard drive failure. From the demos I've seen, I think he's outdone and set the bar higher for himself from when he did the Level-D B763.

Randazzo could shed some light on what it takes to pass a selection process such as the one Lufthansa puts its prospective candidates through so that others might benefit or rethink their airline career aspirations?

Mike,You'll be absolutely fine. I'm running FS9 on an AMD Athlon64 3700+ @ 2.2GHz with 2G memory viewed with an ATI Radeon X1600 Pro. I have no problems running FS9, the Queen, FS2Crew, Active Sky, FS Flight Tracker and Serv Info. Sure, my CPU usage is usually pegged at about 98% with everything I run. But I still get around 20 - 30 fps, depending upon scenery.By all means, do look into FS2Crew. It adds a whole new demention of realism and reduces your work load. :)

Mike,Congratulations on the impending arrival. I know I speak for everyone else here when I say that you'll be thoroughly pleased. A word of advice: take the PMDG 744 Certification course and seriously look into getting FS2Crew for her, too. Now, on to your question.This has been asked before and, I believe, the answer was that you'd have to run the available updates after installation/re-installation. This means that you'll have to download and run the new update when it becomes available if it's after she's arrived to your hangar.

Capt. Robert,Thanks for the personal reply. I was able to find and sucessfully use the original installer. :) Now, any ideas as to how far away we are to release date? I know you were waiting for someone to get back to town. I'm curious. Are they back yet? :D

I have a question. It would seem that I need to re-install the Queen, however the extended download service wasn't an option for me oh so long ago. Will the updates that are forthcoming be rolled into the installer or will I have to download it from the PMDG website?
