Hi All I have just discovered this most amazing programme. Congratulations to the inventers! I would be grateful to anyone who could please tell me how to assign a command using the shift option. Hi Steve, Firstly many thanks for taking on what the fat cats at goflight have intentionally neglected. If it wasn't for you my goflight modules would have collected even more dust. Hi everyone,I have just upgraded my PC to :i5 2500KAsus P8Z68-V / Gen 3 motherboard8gig corsair venegence 1600 RAM.Akasa Venom air cooler.I have managed a stable overclocke of 4.7 in this combination 100 blck x 47 with about 58 degrees(cpuid monitor) with fsx running.I tried a higher overclock with this combination 101 blck x 47 ,the system booted ok and the temp was about 61 degrees and stable with fsx.The pc started ok at each restart..The problem started when I switched on the pc the following morning-The pc did not boot up-error message said overclock error-press F1.I would be grateful for any suggestions on what the best combination is for a higher over clock with my set up .I would like an overclock of 4.8+.Looking forward to your help.Qas

Hi AllI am thinking of buying the OCZ 160gig ssd.Can somebody please advise me how best to use it.Should I have my OS on it and leave fsx on the standard HHD, or should I put fsx on the new ssd and leave everything else alone.Looking foorwards to your comments.Qas

thanks for the replies.I think it was fsc 9 issue.The problem has been sorted by manually selecting the fsx flight plan folder when looking for flight plans in rc4.3.The automatic folder location is not recognised by rc4.3,seems odd.Qas

Hi AllI have just re-installed rc4 after a rebuild and I get the folloing error.'Unable to set cruise altitude to 0'.I build my flight plan in fsc 9, and export it to rc folder,fsx folder and pmdg folder.I did not have this problem before,Can somebody please suggest a solution.many thanks.Qas.

Hi AllI was wondering if some one could please help me in understanding the ssd drive terminology.I have been looking at a few on ebay and they are all listed as 2.5 for laptops.Can you please tell me how to fix one of these in a desk top,where can I get the adopter from etc..Is the power rating different for the ssd drives.Also your comments on the hybrid ssd would be welcomed.Many thaks.Qas

Hi AllI hope everyone had a great Christmas-and Santa bought us all lots of fsx related presents.I have a question on a secondry video card -I was watching a youtube clip on the pmdg 747 and the chap has stated two video cards-labeled as primary and secondry.The quality of the film clip was photographic.My question is how do you set up fsx on 2 graphics cards-not sli or the other format.Is it possible to have 2 cards working separately,if so how will they be linked.Looking forward to some information please.Qas

Hi AllAfter reading on the forum about over clocking the i5 760 ,I have decided to have ago too.My system is Asus p7p55D-E, mobo.i5 760 cpu8 gig 1600 ramand akasa venom cooler.I have been able to achieve an overclock of 4.34 (218x205) at cpu voltage of 1.3375v.The asus temp. gauge shows cpu temp of 55 dgrees celcius when fsx is running.My question is how much more can I increase the cpu voltage to,at the momemt the writing comes up in purple colour.The maximum indicated is 1.7v.And what is the maximum tempreture can I take the i5 760 to.I will be grateful to all the forum members for thier comments and advise on what is the maximum safe voltage for the i5 760 cpu on the asus p7p55D-E mobo.Looking forward to your comments Qas.

Hi AllI think I will go with the i5 760.My local trader Scan-in UK-has one for £144-they are offering a bundle overclocked @ 4.00 Ghz.Does this sound ok- 4.00 Ghz on air-could I push it any higher.many thanks.Qas

Hi Many thanks for your comments.I am thinking of buying a used QX9770-I am looking at one on ebay.I have a limited budget and my thinking is can I achieve reasonable improvement by just changing the cpu.Ideally new upgrade would be welcomed-but I think that may be mid next year.I have thought about liquid cooling the Q6600 but friends tell me there is not much more I can get out of the Q6600.Bearing in mind these comments -would you advise the qx9770 if I could get it around £250 .There is Qx9660 for £216-is there much difference between the QX9770 and the Qx9660.Many thanks.Qas

Hi AllI am thinking of upgrading my pc.My current pc is Q6600 @3.2, 4 gigs Ram and nvidia 480gtx.At medium settings in fsx and pmdg 747 I get 10fps.I only fly the 747 or level d 767.I have most scenery add ons.Any ideas please which of the above will give the best frame gains.I will appreciate all the ideas.Many thanks.Qas

Hi allI have just started to experiment hand flying the pmdg 747.I was wondering if many people try this and if they have any tips/ideas on how to perform general manoeuvre.I find it very hard to keep on the heading-course deviation of 1 or 2 degree happens every few seconds and I am constantly trying to keep on course-is this normal?When making a turn I always lose some altitude-do real pilots use lots of rudder when making turns?These are just some of the difficulties I have come across-I am looking forward to hearing from people who try hand flying the heavies .I am looking for tips for tips on how to stay on course and how best to make turns.Looking forward to your views. Hi AllI just downlaode x plane.I am having problem with x plane not seeing all the buttons on the CH product fighterstick.At each start up different buttons are recognised-and its never more than 2 or 3.I have the latest ch driver v4.51 installled.I am fsx user and I have had no such problems with fsx.Can somebody please help-I tried the x plane forum but its very limited and it does not allow to post topics.So far my experience of x plane has been very poor-if I cn set up the joystick may be I will be able to experience some of the fun many are claiming.Many tanks for all help.Qas

Hi allI just bought the goflight GF-T8 to assign my lights in my 747x.I wonder if any one else uses this for similar set up.My problem is when ever I press any of the GF-T8 switches at start up the sequence is always opposite.ie for examlpe when I toggle the beacon switch from up to down position nothing happens-when I turn it up again the beacon comes on.This only happens to the first switch -which ever I try,The rest work ok after this.Not sure if its with the software.I use the gf 1.4 0 1 key mapper software.All thoughts will be welcomed----please.Thnk youQas

Hi I am using the go-mcp pro and the efis with vista 64bits with no problems.The mcp-pro key assignment is automatic.The efis assignment is not automatic,it can be either done through GFconfig or a registered version of fsupci.I intially had problems with the go flight software-after a while I realised the best way to get everything to work was to install the 1.81 driver first and than upgrade to the latest-this combination somehow worked for me.Sal
