Hi EveryoneI have been given a flight link TPQ twin engine throttle quadrant that I think connects to the flight link avionics console-its not usb.I was not given a connecting lead.My local pc/radio component shop will make me a new lead-If I knew what the configuration was?I need help with the following things please:1 Can I buy a lead for it to connect to vista 64 bits-what sort of lead will it be.2 Where can I find a driver for it-it is quite old.3 Does anybody have such a driver and could you pleae send it/post it to me .4 Does anybody have one of these -could you please contact me and help.Many thanks for all the help.Qas

Hi everyoneI recently managed to buy the cirrus II console with the avionics console.It works with the stock fsx planes but I can not assign any of the button for pmdg-has any one managed to overcome this.Any help will be welcomed.Qas

Thanks everyone for your comments-Can you please tell me if you experience the 'sticky' 'jerky' movement with the cirrus as well on landing/take offs and other flight maneuvers.This is my biggest issue about saitek and ch products although the saitek is less.The other questions is can you recommend any good cheap sellers because I am in UK and the postal cost is about third the purchase price.Many thanksQas

Hi allI am in desperate need of help from you guys regarding the desk top yokes by precision flight controls at-http://www.flypfc.com/yokes.htmlespecially the Mooney and the Saab models.I have tried both the ch yoke and recently the saitek pro and found these 'sticky' The saitek is only 2 months old.The 'stickyness' makes all flight manoeuvrings very jerky and this makes landings impossible.I read somewhere about the precision products and thought I will ask for help form you guys.Please tell me if these are as sticky as the other 2 brands or notand is the up and down movement as smooth as it was mentioned in one of reviews as 'cutting through butter with knife'?I hope you will share your opinions as I do not want to go back to using the joy stick for flying the heavies.Many thanksQas

Hi everyoneI have the following system:q6600 o/c @3.44 gig ramnvidia 8800 ultra XXXvista premium 64 bitI have the following add ons, fsx, ASX. active graphic x,FEX ,REX, UT Europe and America,GEX and some airport add ons.I get sharp good view around the plane but short distance away everything is blurry and loading slowly.Could you please tell me if increasing the ram to 8gig will help with textures loading faster and improve the sharpness.many thanks.Qas

HiThis mostly happens due to excessive manual breaking.You can reset it by going into the pmdg options.hope this helps.Qas

Thanks everyoneI wasn't looking in the displays for a change in trim value-I thought the wheel should move when I press the joystick assigned button.I will look for it on the display.I start with the engines on-I am still in the infancy stage for dark and cold start up-I am still struggling with the 747x :-(. It will be a while before I can manage the dark and cold setup with the md 11.thanks again .Qas

HiHas anybody come across this problem?The key board and the joystick trim buttons do not work in the md 11-they are ok with the 747x and level d767.I can not 'turn' the trim wheel with the mouse either-it goes back to centre position when I unclick the mouse.I have tried the re mapping but the same.everything else works great.Please help as I absolutely love the md 11-espicially the extensive check lists and the multi panels.congratulations Team PMDG!!!Qasvista 64 bit.

Hi everyoneI recently got the fsmap from aerosoft.I have been able to install it in all the planes except the 747X-when Itry to choose a panel the fsmap locks up and the programme quits.Anybody using fsmap with the 747X -if so can you please let me know what you did.I have vista 64bit-UA is swicthed off and I intall as adminstator.Many thanks.Qas

Hi everyoneI left my computer on last night-I was completeing a flight from KLAX toEGLL in the levelD 767.When I returned to the pc this morning the screen was black,the fsx was still running and there was the following message:'display driver nvlddmkd stopped responding and has successfully recovered'.I have googled this and it seems lots of people have this problem.Do many of the fellow simmers have this problem and have we found a solution.My systemvista ultimate 64bit,intel 6600(oc @ 3.35 on air)8800 ultra xxx grahic by sfx,with the latest driver from nvidia site.msi p35 neo2 motherboard-no bios update.This is a one week old fresh reimstall-I have only fsx on it.I hope someone can help.Qas

Hithanks for the reply.I do not get the FA panel option in the main panel-even when I am connected to fs2crew.How am I suppose to activate the FA panel-there is no mention of it in the document.The red © and green (X0 buttons work ok with fs2crew pmdgx.When I dial in 131.7 in com 2 and click the middle switch to activate -the numer does not transfer over to the other side of the radio-could this be a 767 problem?I have to manually dial in the frequency in both windows.Not sure if this the proper way.I have vista ultimate 64bit.Qas

Hi Can someone please help with this.When I click the forward station button on the overhead the FA panel is suppose to open-for me nothing happens.Also when I dial 131.7 in com 2 I am suppose to get connected to something-according the fs2crew level D manual-I get nothing .Any help would be appricoated.ThanksQas

Thanks for the reply RayI understand the basic of this-I think.What I am confused about is what are the different actions I need to take if the RC4 controller tells me either of these-I also get the 'busted altitude' threats some time even though I am flying at the required altitude.I always ask for weather update if this happens and adjust the pressure as appropriate.Qas

HiCan you please help me with following two questions on reinstalling RC4?1. Can RC4 be installed for both fs9 and fsx on the same machine-currently I have it for fsx only.2. I will be rebuilding my pc over next few weeks-changing OS and hard drive-will the present serial number work for the reinstall or would I need to request a new number for the new set up.Many thanks .Qas
