  1. Is there anyway to set up so the headset is voice sound and the pc speakers are engine and other sounds ?Cannot find this in the manual. Thanks,TomGT: BeechV35
  2. Alright Peter, We have to do this.My thoughts are to find a reasonable room to use or rent. Probably on a weekend morning. Ask others to bring minimal equipment. This could start as just a social meeting to see what the flying interest in the area is. Maybe a simple lunch (subs etc), if costs are rising ask for a donation at the door ($10-20)I am strictly GA and know your love for the big jets, but there is still a lot for us to talk about. Just to share the joy of Simming. I'm INTom in Quincy
  3. Almost always Gate to gate, cold and dark, Real Time and Weather. An "as real as it gets" GA pilot Tom
  4. John . Thank you for taking us along on your trip. It is great to see another GA/seat of the pants pilot just enjoying flight. On you return trip if you decide to see the NorthEast find your way to Plum Island, just a nice airport.73we should try IRLP or echolinkTom
  5. This has become one of my all time favorite aircraft.I run two screens and when I have the GPS pop-up window open, I cannot find a a spot to grab and resize it!Can I change this anywhere else....cfg etc?It keeps elongating and is almost unusable.Tom

  7. I just turned on my Seneca and gave the HSI a twist and all is working fine.I am not sure what your problem is I hope you work it out.Tom
  8. Glen, Now I have ICE. Simmers are just so easy to please. I have been flying all over Eastern MASS and landing on the lake that I ICE BOAT on.This is great just like real life for me.Thank you for letting me know about frozen lakes on UTX and the great stuff for the 185F. That machine is fast and fun/tricky to fly.Regards,Tom
  9. Glenn, The Guide was really helpful. Thank you for your time. But, the part that really caught me was when you said that UTX now makes it possible for lakes to freeze over. You see besides FS'ing I also sail an ICEBOAT, a DN/60. I have had it for a number of years. Some of my greatest thrills were to watch a small aircraft circle around watching our sails. He the might come down close to the ice just to try to judge our speed across the ICE. I bet it was a surprise to the pilot when he had to increase the throttle to keep up. Sometimes our speeds easily hit 50 - 65 MPH across the ice. Every now and then an aircraft would land just to talk with us and share stories. So, I warmed up my C185 and took off to the north for some ICE landings. I went up to lake Winnipisaukie in NH which has around 12" of ice this time of year. I got ready for my approach, leaving plenty of room for stopping. The Winter waters in FSX look different...I got lower and slower, now with full flaps deployed I am dropping pretty quick. "Hmm, it doesn't really look like ice"...... SPLASH.OK, So where's THE ICE or how do I turn it on Thank you this great guideTom
  10. Alright Glenn, Now there is trouble...I have read your C185 Guide and liked it a lot. You have made it sound like flying this little workhorse could be both challenging and fun for a Sim pilot like me. I have some other Carenado Aircraft that I love, pretty much that is all I fly in FSX.I figured that was enough aircraft for now. Then, you added PAGE numbers to your guide and that did it.So, I am off to buy yet another aircraft. You are starting to cost me some money.Thank you very nice job on the C185 Guide.
  11. I just have to fly The Seneca and the Warrior. Both of these craft give such a nice ..fluid feeling to the flight.Thank you CarenadoTom
