Hi; I realise that you are quite proficient at FS9, however i have a solution that worked for me in very similar circunstances. I had played with my scenery cfg. file and messed it up quite badly. I moved it from the fs9 folder and renamed the old scenery cfg. to just scenery and my problems at KSEA and surrounding areas went away. Worth trying for you maybe. Regards David

Hi; A few questions about this scenery. Never having used Latin VFR scenery before i am very impressed with KMIA. The Miami scenery however seems to be fantastic in the daytime, however i seem to have an issue at night. Not all of the buildings appear to be illuminated they seem to flicker depending on the view i am using.

Hi Joe and Paul, I have found the culprit and it is Gap Seaplane bases 2008 V2. Hope to find a solution soon as i like flying the Gap Sceneries.. I'll take your advice though Paul and just re-activate Gap when i wish to fly there. Thanks again David

Hi all, When i use the filter airports option in fs9 evey state i choose show all the airports in that state. When i choose United States and Texas nothing changes, if i just looked at Maine for example all the airports are there, and then switch to Texas the state/ province box stays on Maine. Any ideas, just noticed this this morning. Nothing new added or removed in ages. Thanks, David

Hi Rafal; Thank you as well, I have used Inspector before and i was using Nvidia driver version 280 something and found my system to be unstable. I rolled back to my previous drivers 270.61 and then when i went to Inspector that was when i discovered that fs9.exe was not in it's usual place in the green area below the profiles box. Hi Barry; thanks for the reply. I have the proper MS Flight Sim 2004 and all the other stuff in it's right place , it's just that in the area which is normally green just under the MS Flight stuff it usually shows fs9.exe. That is not there. Any other ideas?, Thanks David

Hi; If this doesn't belong here please let me know. I'm trying to set up inspector and when i do it fails to show my exe in the area where it shouldbe. Have tried the registry repair tool and that doesn't make any difference. any ideas i can try. thanks David

Hi, I had the same problem and i solved it by moving the LGIO scenery around in the fs9 scenery library. If you have any other GAP scenery try putting LGIO below any other Gap scenery. ie; a higher number. Hope this helps.

Here,is a shot of my aircraft in the dark. Seems to illuminate okay. Unless i,m missing something here.

Hi; Does anyone know of a solution for floating nav and strobe lights on this aircraft. when on the ground they hover above the wing tips and when altitude is gained they rejoin their proper place.

I too made the mistake of buying the 787 from Abacus. I concur with Alec. Never again will my wallet grace their doorstep. Chin up, the CamSim is not bad.

Hi Geoff; Thanks for the info, I tried some of your suggestions and then stumbled across some Ontario landclass from Flight Ontario. Installed it and presto no more square. Probably not the optimum solution but it works. Thanks again. David

Hi David and fellow simmers; Heard back from Don and here is what he says Hi, David. CYYJ can only be compatible with one or the other at a time. You should use the Scenery Library method to control compatibility if you want to be able to run with either. When you check "No, thanks; I'll use the Scenery Library method", the radio buttons should turn to checkboxes, and you may select both. DonHope this is helpfull to any body else. All the best David

Hi David I Have UT and Vic+ and Van+ I just don't know whether to check UT and then uncheck it and check VIc+ before installing. Seeing that you can't have both checked at once. Thanks

Hi; Don Grovestines cyyj 2010 has an auto installer and some compatibility files for UT and VIc+. if you use the installer you have the option to select one of UT or Vic+ apparently not both. The instructions read as follows." Otherwise, check the add-on(s) with which you want CYYJ (2010) to be compatible. Except for FS9 add-ons BC Roads and EVI Shorelines, only one add-on may be checked; to select another, you must uncheck the first. If you don't check any, CYYJ will be compatible with the default Flight Simulator." Should one be checked then unchecked and then the other checked before finishing with the install.
